*********

The room was cold. No windows to let in any light beside the bare bulb that flickered in the center of the ceiling. There was only a thin matter out on the ground, no blankets or pillows to reach for in an attempt to find comfort. Everything was bare and dirty from the years of constant use.

Izuku laid on said mattress, head spinning as it had never done before. Everything was usually so far away, nothing close enough to feel or hear. Yet for the first time, Izuku's mind was spinning so fast. He could feel his heart racing in his chest, the beads of sweat pouring down his body as he tried to grasp onto his surroundings. The tiniest noise that filtered through the walls was so loud; each scrape of a door, grunts that came from the other side of the walls, a cry from someone in another room, or a yell from someone.

Something was wrong, Izuku could feel it. The way his body shook with each breath, how he gagged from the pungent stink of the mattress, and intense throb in his head was far too much to handle. His throat was so dry, like he hadn’t drank anything in days. This was nothing like he had ever felt. He felt on the verge of death, the constant spiral that only got worse the more he was able to see through the fog.

The heavy metal door to his room screeched open. The heavy smell of barley invading the room and cloaking it in a thick layer. Izuku tried to shove his nose into the stained mattress below him, trying desperately to keep his hollow stomach from wrenching again.

“You have 30 minutes.” A woman said, her scent of mulch getting through the cloud of barley.

Izuku shuddered, that scent so familiar to the one that he had scented that day on the streets. Was it yesterday? That didn’t feel right, but the last thing he remembered was walking home.

He remembered stopping on the sidewalk, the honk of a horn drawing his attention toward a cargo van that had pulled up beside him. Izuku had given the man in the driver's seat a confused wave as he walked over to the window that had rolled down for him.

The man smiled brightly at him as he leaned over as if to talk to him. “You are beautiful.” He whispered.

Izuku had taken a step back, confused but mostly disgusted by this stranger. He made to turn around but felt pressure on his back before a hand wrapped around his mouth and nose. He tried to scream, but a thick liquid filled his mouth. Whatever it was had been pushed out of the woman’s skin and down his throat. It burned, stinging all the way down as Izuku desperately clawed for air. Then everything had gone dark.

He must have just woken up from whatever had happened, that was the only thing izuku could conclude since that scent was the same one as the person who had grabbed him back on the street.

Green eyes blink up at the two that had entered the room Izuku was in. The omega was so confused by what was happening. He blinked the blur from his eyes, trying to ignore the raging tornado that encapsulated his body.

“I’ll let you know, this one is a bit fiery. Even under the drug, he struggles.” The soft voice of the woman continued.

The man that had accompanied her chuckled under his breath. “Just more fun for me.”

The heavy thud of the door echoed through the room, the sound crashing into Izuku like a weighted mallet.

“You are such a little thing, aren’t ya,” The man muttered.

Izuku tried to sit up, desperate to understand what was happening as fear began to wash over him as his surroundings made less sense. “Sir-“ Izuku tried to speak, but his throat was so sore. It felt like sandpaper. His tongue was heavy in his mouth, his cheeks swollen.

The man hummed with delight. “Oh, you are a bit more conscious than the others.” He said, kneeling onto the mattress next to Izuku. “I don’t like when the dolls are limp so I’ll have to tell your handler to put you on my list.”

List? What did that mean?

Everything that had come out of this man’s mouth was making less sense than before. “I- Where-“

“Shhhh, don’t make a fuss.” The man whispered, pushing the omega back down onto his back. His hand was warm against Izuku’s skin, his chest! Why didn’t he have a shirt on, where was his clothes?

The man was practically on top of him, his bright blue eyes hooded as he looked down at the omega. Izuku tried to sit up again, pushing the man’s hand away as he struggled.

“Lay down.” The man said, his voice more stern than before.

Izuku blinked, his awareness a bit better as he looked around. The man before him had nothing on, his body completely naked as his cock hung below him- so close to his stomach. Izuku gasped, scrambling back on his hands as he realized that he too was completely naked.

“What is happening?!” He whined, pushing out his words despite the pain it caused him.

The man’s smile grew. “They weren’t lying when they said you were feisty, this is so hot.” He crooned, his voice heavy with arousal.

”Get off!” Izuku said, more of a bite in his voice than before. He was panicking, his entire body pumping with adrenaline as he finally understood what was happening.

Izuku struggled back more on one arm, using his free hand to hit the man away while trying to kick at the man’s crotch when the alpha crawled after him. Izuku didn’t care when the mattress turned to hard concrete, his omega was screaming at him to run away.

The alpha growled out a threat, his shoulders more square as he postered at the small omega. “I like the struggle, but you are wasting my time. I don’t have all day.”

Hot barley cascaded over Izuku, the scent far heavier than what it had been before. The fog that Izuku had been able to push away made an reemergence under the scent. Izuku hiss at the man, swiping his clipped fingers at the man’s face.

The alpha trapped his hand in a firm grip, squeezing until the bones in the omega’s fingers popped loudly. Izuku screamed, the pain that radiated up his arm intense as he flung himself forward. He didn’t think, just acted on instinct.

He dug his free hand into the man's neck, his hand barely able to stretch the expanse of the alpha’s throat, but he didn’t care. He clawed at the skin while sinking his fangs into the side of the man’s face. Izuku smiled as he locked his jaw, happy to realize that it was the alpha’s ear between his teeth.

“You bitch!” The alpha cried out.

It was a tussle after that moment, one that Izuku couldn’t keep up with as he fought as hard as he could against the man. He felt the impacts that the alpha made with each punch, but the pain was too dulled from the cloud that clogged his mind.

It wasn’t until his head flew back, smacking against the ground that he truly felt the pain that had been accumulating. His face was on fire as warmth rushed over his cheeks and down past his ears.

Izuku gasped but nothing entered his lungs for a long moment as he laid against the cold concrete and stared up at the ceiling. He tried to breath again, gasping as he tried to regain his bearings but his throat filled with liquid as it drained from his sinuses.

Izuku coughed, rolling his head to the side to spit up whatever was blocking his breathing. His eyes stung as the pain grew, his lungs burning as he continued to spit up whatever was trying to invade his lungs.

“About time, god!!” The alpha roared beside him, his anger more than evident in his voice.

Izuku whined as he felt the man grab his legs and pulled him closer. The omega hissed as the alpha pushed each leg up to his shoulders, his thighs burned at the stretch. Izuku gasped, the first breath he was able to take without feeling like he was drowning, his mind was suddenly clear again like it had been before. Izuku blinked, confused at first but grateful for the freeing feeling.

He registered the feel of the alpha’s cock against him, the touch enough to trigger the omega to move. Izuku didn’t know how he did it, just that he was able to contort himself enough to sink his fangs into the man’s neck. The gush of blood that filled his mouth was red hot, practically burning his mouth.

Izuku smiled as the man pulled away from him, gasping with a hand clamped down on his neck as he stared wide eyed at the omega. His mouth gaped open and closed  in shock as blood flowed between his fingers.

Izuku watched with immense satisfaction as the alpha’s face paled and his body slumped onto the floor. The omega didn’t take his eyes off the man as blood pooled around his head, the alpha’s mouth slacking as he took one last breath.

Green eyes focused on the puddle, fascinated by the glint of light that flickered off of it. It was beautiful, the color so comforting and freeing for Izuku. He reached forward, dipping two of his fingers into the warm liquid, smiling as it dripped slowly off his fingertips as he pulled them away. He dragged them over the untouch floor, two trails following with a deep red.

Izuku ignored the screech of his door as it opened, even the gasp and yell from the woman. He kept his eyes on the blood, smiling as he drew a smiley face next to his leg. The blood wasn’t as warm anymore, far thicker than it had been moments before. But Izuku kept drawing, liking the feeling of the liquid rubbing off his skin as he dragged them against the dirty concrete.

A star soon joined the smiley face, then a rainbow, and last a bad rendering of red eyes. Ones that felt like he hadn’t seen in a long time, but he had just seen Kacchan before leaving school. It couldn’t have been that long; must have only been a few hours, or a couple days at the most.

Izuku blinked as he heard another man’s voice close to him, green eyes moved to stare up at a man with silver hair that fell to his chin. He had a frown on his face as he examined the omega.

“He killed a client, we must dispose of him and the body quickly.” The woman yelled out the doorway, probably to more people like her.

“You will not touch him!” The silver haired man said, looking over his shoulder and glaring at the woman. “I have a use for him.” He said.

*********

Izuku gasped as he woke up from his dream. Sweat drenched his nest and hair as he looked around the room, fear encapsulating himself as he tried to find the body. It was dark, no light in the room as he tried to settle himself.

It felt so real, like he was back in the tiny room. It had been a while since he dreamt of that place. He only had one memory of the room, the one that would occasionally replay in his sleep.

Izuku turned his attention to the window that was next to him. He had pushed the bed so it sat right up under the window, liking the cold air that would fall over his nest at night.

It was still dark out, the crickets loud as they chirped their nightly tune. The breeze was refreshing against the omega’s skin, helping him as he tried to deepen each breath. He gazed around the yard, making out the dark silhouettes of each tree and bush that filled the area.

It was a peaceful night.

Izuku layed back down, eyes looking up at the stars that twinkle above. He didn’t know much about them; that had been a subject that his science class hadn’t gotten too before he was taken.

He tried to replay what he knew through his mind, hoping the information would help ease him back to sleep. It worked, his eyes growing heavy as he looked up and admired the sky.

Each breath was longer and deeper than the last, Izuku’s mind settling back into sleep as he wished for the years that he had lost to return to him.

Eri sat on the side of her bed, her red eyes peering out of the single window in her new room as she held the stuffed bunny close to her chest. Her ears pricked with every new sound that resonated through the house that she had been taken to. The distant hum of a conversation on the other side of her closed door and down the stairs kept her on edge despite the comfort of the house.

This was supposedly Eri’s room, though there was no scent beside the carpet cleaner that welcomed her. She didn’t mind it, actually she preferred it more than the blank hospital room. This place at least had soft sheets and carpet instead of the cold linoleum and scratchy blankets, and completely better than the closet she would sleep in when not with Izuku. The color of these walls was a deep blue that enclosed the space enough to bring the young girl more comfort as it helped her feel safe.

She glanced around the room, not really knowing what to do with herself. She didn’t know how long she had been sitting here. It could have been minutes or hours, but she was used to that. Something that she had done back at the warehouse; just sitting and letting her mind go blank.

A soft knock drew her attention, her red eyes peering over her shoulder to see the blonde beta peak his head in. His smile was large when they made eye contact, his hair falling over his shoulder as he leaned a little more through the doorway.

“We have lunch ready.” Yamada said loudly.

Eri smirked at the beta, she didn’t know why he always yelled, but it was a bit funny. She guessed that it was his quirk, but didn’t really know since she hadn’t talked with him much at the hospital. She had spent most of her time with the hero who had rescued her, LeMillion.

“Okay.” She replied, setting her bunny on the bed and walking to the door.

The pup kept her distance, her eyes still wary as she waited for the man to walk into the hall. She kept a few steps behind as they entered the kitchen, her nose catching the scent of the alpha before she even saw him.

Aizawa was at the breakfast bar, his shoulders slumped as he rested his chin on his fist. “Hello, Eri. It’s good to see you.” He said, voice much softer than the other man’s.

“Hello.” She greeted, though not as warmly as she should have. She sat at the bar, making sure to keep two bar stools between them as she watched the beta man grab the plates of sandwiches.

Yamada still had his large smile plastered on his face as he slid a plate towards her. “Here you go, squirt.”

That was another thing that Eri thought was funny, the beta always had a new nickname to address her by. First it was Little One, then Princess, pups, angel, and Little Listener- though that one still didn’t make much sense to her.

The three fell into a gentle silence as they ate. The pup and alpha were sitting at the bar while the beta leaned over the counter on the other side of them, humming happily as he took a bite out of his food.

It had been like this since she arrived the day before. Each meal was silent with either background music or the tv playing to fill the space. Though it seemed that this was just how the couple was during meals. They let their scents freely fill the space around them, expressing more than words could through their bonds as they relaxed.

Eri just ignored it, used to the weird scent displays that some people seemed to have. Chisaki had his own, though it was mostly just anger cues or boredom. Izuku had been the easiest to read by far though- probably because he didn’t realize how much of his scent he let loose. It didn't take much for Eri to know exactly what the omega was feeling.

She missed him. It had been a long time since Eri had even got to lay eyes on Izuku. The last image she had was the omega being carried out of the wearhouse on a stretcher covered in blood. It hadn’t worried her at the time, knowing that he had fought Chisaki, and he was always covered in blood after a fight. It was comforting enough to know that there hadn’t been a sheet over the omega.

But not being able to get any type of update on him was starting to freak her out. The only thing that she had heard about Izuku was that he too had been taken to a safe house and that he was safe. That didn’t do much in the way of easing her anxiety, but it was better than not knowing anything.

“Hey, Squirt?” Yamada asked, his voice a bit softer than normal. “Do you want to go on a car ride with us?”

Eri looked at the man, confused at why that would be an activity. The alpha must have noticed the confusion because he cleared his throat and explained further.

“We thought taking you to see Midoriya would be a nice break from all this craziness.” He said. The words brought an excited rush through the girl's body.

“Really?!”

Yamada nodded, “Ya, we thought it would do you both some good to reunite for the day. Ya know, since you lived side by side for years.”

The girl nodded her head, very much on board with this invite. “Yes, please! I miss him so bad.”

Aizawa smiled sadly at the small girl. “We figured. Finish eating and then we can head out.”

The car ride was the longest one that Eri ever had. She stared out the darkened windows from the back seat, watching as the houses became closer together until they were connected. When she thought they would be entering the center of the city, each house began to get a bit larger than the next with every street they passed until the yards became large and expansive. After a while trees fended off the view from the road they drove on, keeping the privacy of each property.

Eri kept quiet, the bunny settled on her lap as music played from the speakers of the car. Yamada and Aizawa were talking to one another, the blonde smiling and pointing things out through his window. The alpha would hum and look each time, a small smile on his face as he drove.

It was an interesting interaction to see. A bit strange for the young girl as she had never seen a mated couple before them. She hadn’t put much thought to it up until now, but she always assumed that an alpha wouldn’t interact much with their mate. Or at least their mate would remain quiet until he started talking. She wondered if it was because Yamada was a beta and Aizawa couldn’t expect his mate to submit to him.

”We are almost there, Eri.” Yamada turned, the same smile as before on his face as he looked at her.

The girl nodded, turning back to peer out the window. It didn’t seem like they were really anywhere. There were so many trees that it was hard to see if  there was a house. Yet, the  girl was surprised when the car slowed down and turned, and a large gate appeared through the leaves of the overhanging trees.

The gates opened before them, not needing them to stop at all. The confusion in Eri stilled away to absolute awe. There were so many flowers that welcomed them, a small stream that Eri couldn’t stop herself from rolling down her window so she was able to listen to it. She stuck her head out, smelling the gentle breeze that seemed to clear her senses more than any other air she had ever breathed.

Aizawa chuckled to himself, his hand reaching to grab his mate’s as he watched the pup through the side mirror. She had a smile on her face, her eyes wide as she looked out over the expansive property with glee.

“We might need to stay longer than expected.” Yamada whispered, leaning over the center console so just his mate would hear him.

The alpha nodded, “I think you're right.” He whispered before frowning. “I don’t think she has ever seen anything like this.”

Yamada’s smile fell away at the alpha’s words, his eyes growing sad as he looked at the pup. “She’s never been allowed to be a kid.” He muttered back, his voice thick with sadness.

Aizawa squeezed their connected hands. “We will do that for her, let her be what she wants.” He encouraged, smiling to his mate so the blonde could regain some hope.

Eri smiled at the couple that welcomed them into the house. The blonde alpha looked a bit scary with the blank face she had on, but the omega next to her had a happy attitude that was enough to keep the pup settled.

“Welcome. I’m so happy that you were able to come.” The brunette said while motioning for the three to walk further into the house. “I already have tea waiting for us. Come.”

Yamada closed the space between them with a large smile, his voice loud as he walked beside the omega. They both laughed at something the beta said, no longer giving the other’s a glance as they stood in the foyer.

The blonde alpha turned to them, her red eyes intense. “Hopefully they will wear each other out. Their energy when together is exhausting.” She said, though there was a small smile on her face.

Aizawa huffed a laugh. “I agree. They act like pups sometimes.” He said before looking down at the pup by his side. “Speaking of, this is Eri. She is the girl that was with Izuku before.” He said, moving a hand to rest on her shoulder.

The blonde’s mouth formed a line as she crouched down a bit so she could talk to the girl. “It’s nice to meet you, Eri. I’m Bakugo Mistuki.” She said, extending her hand in greeting.

Eri hesitated, examining the woman’s face before extending her own hand.

“Izuku will be so happy to see you.” Mrs Bakugo continued. “He has been a bit depressed the past couple days, so I hope that you will be able to bring him some comfort. That's what we alphas do, right?”

The girl nodded, determination growing in her gut as she agreed wholeheartedly. The woman grinned at the look the small girl gave, her large fangs on full display. Eri couldn’t help but mimic the woman, understanding on a deep level that the woman wasn’t an scary person but rather she displayed her emotions a bit differently than what she was used to.

“We should discuss what has been going on first.” Aizawa interrupted, calling the blonde alpha’s attention to him.

Mrs Bakugo stood back up to her full height with a sigh, “Yes, there are some things that are a bit concerning. I don’t want to wait till it gets worse.” She said back to Aizawa.

“That is probably for the best. We don’t know what Izuku will express as he recovers.” The man agreed as he walked alongside the blonde that started walking down to the doorway the two mates disappeared into.

“He didn’t have much in the way of therapy at the hospital,” Aizawa continued with a sigh. “For whatever reason his doctor didn’t think that the omega needed it.”

”What! That can’t be true.” Mrs Bakugo growled in surprise. “Izuku needs all the help that he can get. He is a survivor of such awful things. His doctor must be incompetent!”

Aizawa agreed, though kept it to himself. It was strange how things were playing out, so different than any other rescue case that involved an omega. There were too many unexplainable situations to keep track of now that Aizawa’s hunch had been confirmed to not be a one off thing. Especially not with how the blonde alpha’s own son was being treated in a similar manner as Midoriya as well.

The three of them walked into a side room, a collection of love seats and single person seats spread out with coffee tables and side tables for each one. On the side of the room by the door was a butlers table with a collection of tea cups for each of them.

“Please, enjoy a refreshment. It could be a long day.” Masaru said, already sitting on a loveseat with Yamada. They each had their own cup as they turned and continued to talk in hushed voices.

The center coffee table had a layered serving stand, each section filled with little sandwiches and treats for them to munch on. It was extraordinary, something that reminded Aizawa of tea parties in Victorian movies. But that was something that the brunette omega would try to imitate. He was a quaint man with hobbies such as these.

“Eri.” Mrs. Bakugo called.

Aizawa watched as the small girl walked over to where the blonde alpha was, the uncertainty not as prominent as it had been when they first arrived. The dark haired alpha couldn’t hide the small smile that formed on his mouth. He liked the idea of Eri having a female alpha to look up to. Especially one such as Bakugo Mistuki.

“Have you ever had tea before?” The woman asked, leaning slightly so she could talk to the girl directly.

“Umm, there was tea at the warehouse. But Master Chisaki didn’t like me having it. Though he did let me have a raspberry one for my birthday a few years ago.” She said, her voice small as she spoke of the past.

Mitsuki glanced over at Aizawa for a moment, no doubt making sure that he had heard the way Eri had addressed Overhaul. That was something the male alpha would have to work with her on, or at least update her therapist on.

“Well, this will be far better than that.” Mistuki said to Eri, a rare smile drawing on her lips as she looked at the pup. “You can try as many flavors as you want, I don’t mind. Everyone should know what pallet they have.”

”Pallet?” Eri asked, cocking her head to the side as she watched the alpha pour some tea into one of the cups.

“Oh, everyone has a different liking to flavors.” The woman explained. “I myself love sweet tea, while my mate likes a more bitter tea. I will make a different kind for you to try each time you come.”

Eri’s eyes widened. “Each time?” She turned around, her eyes landing on Yamada who was smiling gently at her. “I will get to come here again.”

Yamada nodded, “We wouldn’t keep you away from Izuku. You two are pack after all.”

Eri squealed, her feet dancing in excitement at the news.
