Chapter 25

The Addition of One More

It was over a week before any news came from Katsuki’s lawyer. He had been waiting patiently- well as patiently as he could with how stressful the whole situation had become. At first he had used Hitoshi to distract himself. It was easy enough to do.

Yet once the blonde had moved back to his own place he had to find new ways to keep his anxiety down. He was more than happy to finally be back in his den, basking in his pheromones and resenting the place so it wasn’t so dull. He used the free time to lounge around- something he hadn’t done in a long time. He didn’t expect how enjoyable it was to catch up on some shows and order from his favorite dinner instead of heating up meal prepped food. It was the small things, he realized that he had missed living on the outskirts of the city, missed the solitude that allowed him to think.

But that same solitude was also his undoing. Each night he would lay on his bed, staring out the large windows that faced the city lights. Every attempt to sleep was thwarted. His mind wandered to anything and everything. To the heroes on patrol, to his friends out on missions. Or to a certain omega that he wished he was able to see, to be able to ask how he was doing. Really he just wanted to see if Izuku was alive. His mind seemed to remind him that rescuing Izuku was imagined, that he hadn’t seen his childhood friend but rather someone who had just looked like the omega. If it weren’t for the bandages on his face, he would have assumed he had dreamt the entire mission.

More than once Katsuki wanted to text Aizawa, to beg his sensei to see his omegan friend and confirm that his anxiety was only in his head. But he knew it was impossible at this point. Izuku was probably at a safe house, far away and under lock down until Overhaul could be arrested. It was stupid to try to bypass the system that he had spent years reforming and strengthening to help victims.

So the alpha didn’t reach out to his mentor. He concluded it was for the best, even if it panicked him far more than he wished. The few days that the blonde had settled back into his den, his mind trailed into darker places of anxiety and depression. The home that had once been his oasis had turned to a desert with nothing but sand to be seen.

But everytime that he felt he was on the brink of dying from thirst, a well timed text always brought him back to life. Hitoshi, despite returning to his own home, hadn’t stopped communicating with the alpha. The two spent hours texting nonstop since their departure home. It seemed that the two were not able to distance themselves for even a few days.

And that was where Katsuki’s thoughts would move to when he needed solace. When he wasn’t thinking about Izuku, he was constantly thinking about his partner. A part of him settled on being sad that Toshi wasn’t there with him. He wouldn’t deny that the first couple of days alone had pleased him. But the breath of independence was no longer refreshing.

Even though he craved being alone, that independence was only enjoyable until night fell, then it turned into a prison. These were the hours that Katsuki realized how attached he had grown to the insomniac alpha, how much he didn’t like the emptiness next to him or the silence in the darkened room. It pissed him off, but not as much as he thought it would.

It was strange to have a boyfriend in general, he never gave much thought to it, so to have his entire life flipped on its head was jarring. At first he ignored the desperation that his alpha had when he went about his day alone. The alpha ignored the awareness he had obtained for how quiet and empty his home had become, and ignored the desire to have Hitoshi fill that space.

It was strange, a habitual reflex to push whatever this development was away. He had been doing this since he was a child, pushing anyone that brought these types of feelings to him before they were able to get close. He kept them at arm's length, stranger to banish to where they wouldn’t infect him.

Yet, this was the conundrum that Katsuki was trying to decipher. It wasn’t like Hitoshi was a stranger. They had known each other for years; had worked under Aizawa since graduation. So it shouldn’t feel so weird for things to develop like this. It wasn’t a spontaneous situation with someone he didn’t know, it had grown naturally over the past few months.

So why did it feel impossible to ask the idiot to come over after Mina had kicked them out. It could possibly be because in her words- ‘I can’t take another night listening to you two fuck! Even Akumi can’t sleep!’. But that didn’t seem to be the entire reason.

It wasn’t a conversation that Katsuki knew how to start. Was he just supposed to take the guys duffle and lug it to his place? Grab Hitoshi’s wrist when he was about to get off the train and tell him to sit his ass back down? To say out loud that he didn’t want to go to Hitoshi’s place, but that didn’t mean he didn’t want the alpha to leave?

It was all too confusing. How was anyone supposed to do this shit?

The blonde smiled when his phone buzzed again, rolling over on his bed to grab his phone. It was later than he normally would stay up, but after weeks of not having an actual schedule, he threw his cares out the proverbial window.

Toshi had sent him a picture of the sleeping cat he had found the day before behind a dumpster outside his apartment. The thing looked ragged as it slept on one of the many pillows that the alpha had put in the corner of his room.

Katsuki: It NEEEDS a bath. Looks like it could have a disease.

Toshi: I will tomorrow. The little guy has been sleeping all day. He must have been struggling to find food and a safe place to live. He’s so tired.

The blonde snorted at the other’s replied text. He didn’t realize how big of a phanatic the mind freak was toward cats. But it was nice to discover a soft spot in his boyfriend, and use it as a distraction.

This was all they had talked about since the creature was discovered. Every few hours Katsuki would receive a column of text updating him on how the cat was; how much it ate, if it was still sleeping, the cute yawns that Toshi was able to take a picture of. But it was mostly a debate of whether Toshi should keep it or take it to a shelter.

It was fun, something so mundane that it kept the blonde alpha relaxed despite what his lawyer had informed him earlier that day. An appointment was finally scheduled for the blonde’s injuries- but only after Aizawa confirmed it wouldn’t impede his investigation of the entire matter. Thank god his lawyer was as big of a bully as any alpha, the beta woman was able to get through the most stubborn people without causing an absolute PR disaster like the client she represented.

She messaged him within minutes once after the go ahead was given. Instructing the blonde of his appointment at a different hospital. Her instructions were clear that he would finally get his eye and face healed the remainder of the way and get blood work completed. Her tone was sharp and quick as it always was, but unusually gentle as she passed on the instructions from the doctor on what he needed to prepare. The basic bullshit; hydrate, eat full meals and don’t put any lotions or creams around the area 6 hours before the appointment.

It was all great, something that should have alleviated the growing stress, but it had done the opposite. It seemed to have injected the alpha with more of it, crazy thoughts of what could go wrong or if healing his eyes was actually possible. Far too many spiraling thoughts to keep Katsuki sane.

Thank god for this stupid cat, because there was no way Katsuki would have texted his boyfriend over the sudden nervousness when he hung up the call with his lawyer. It seemed stupid to him, being nervous about getting healed, he should be happy to finally get closer to returning to his job.

But now that the two had spent all day talking back and forth, their conversation slowing now that it was late into the evening, Katsuki had the urge to let his boyfriend know. Katsuki’s nerves were still tied in knots when his mind would wander back to the appointment, and the only thing he hadn’t tried to alleviate it was speaking to Toshi.

Katsuki: I finally have an appointment for my fucking eye.

Toshi: Really? When?

Katsuki: Tomorrow, 11 am

Toshi: Want me to come with?

The blonde alpha paused. The same confusion on how to proceed laying thick in his gut. He could feel his ego bristling at the idea of someone thinking he couldn’t go to a doctor's appointment by himself. He wasn’t weak or scared, he could go alone. …

Yet, he didn’t really want to go alone. Katsuki knew he could power through it without any problem- that was what he had been doing his entire life- but now that he had a partner, it was like a loophole had formed.

Why wouldn’t he invite his boyfriend to come with him, it wasn’t strange to do. Hell, IceHot was always posting pictures of him and Momo in a waiting room or in an office. The two just updated the group chat about getting their medical examinations done for their wedding. The two were acting like complete weirdos while everyone else expressed their excitement about it.

Even Mina went to all of Eijirou’s dental appointments- something about being nervous that the doctor would fuck up her man’s teeth. Apparently Eijirou had a fear of his teeth getting shaved down- a repeating nightmare from when he was a child- and Mina took it very seriously. Going as far to sit in the corner of the room as a supervisor of sorts.

Katsuki: if you want.

Toshi: ? What do YOU want?

The blonde alpha sighed again, pushing his head into the pillow and screaming. “Get your shit together!” Katsuki groaned to himself. He hated this, he hated how he was feeling.

Katsuki: Come if you fucking want. I don’t care, it would be nice to have you there but it’s whatever. Just let me know.

He hit send without rereading what he had written, slapping his phone back on his sheets in favor of shoving his face back into the pillow. He pushed at the thing harder, hoping the pillow would seal off all air so he could die before he humiliated himself any farther.

Even when his phone buzzed he didn’t move to look at it. Katsuki didn’t want to, it didn’t matter what the other had replied. And it wouldn’t be important until he was about to leave and needed to know if he had to meet his boyfriend somewhere. Really, none of this had to be an issue. Future Katsuki could figure it all out, and present him could go to sleep. He could ignore his alpha- no matter how desperately it had been begging him to see the other. The blonde was going to keep ignoring that feeling just like he was going to ignore the text.

That was until there was a second buzz. Why would the idiot send two messages? Toshi was someone that would send an entire wall of text instead of multiple short ones. So for the blonde to get two messages was strange for the unpoetic bastard to do. Katsuki didn’t even realize what he was doing until his phone was unlocked and in front of his face.

Toshi: Okay, Kats. Want me to come over tonight or do we meet up tomorrow?

Toshi: But only if the cat can come over. I don’t trust him alone in my apartment, I can’t put the little guy in the carrier for that long.

Katsuki rolled his eyes. Of course the idiot would send a second message about the cat. That thing was already forcing its way into the other alpha’s heart whether Toshi wanted it or not. There was absolutely no way Toshi was getting rid of it if he was already doing gymnastics after one day of having the cat.

Katsuki: If that thing comes it better be squeaky clean or I’m drowning it.

Toshi: So you’ll wash him for me? Thanks 😘

Katsuki: Hell no, not my fucking problem.

Toshi: I’ll bring everything I just bought for him. I even got a conditioner and perfume to help with his baby fur.

“What the actual fuck.” Katsuki whispered. ”Perfume for a cat? You gotta be fucking kidding me.”

The blonde alpha didn’t even care to reply to Toshi, he just tossed his phone onto his night stand as he got out of bed with a yawn. Katsuki knew damn well that his partner wasn’t going to give the cat a bath before he came over. Toshi would use a stupid excuse like ‘it would be too cold for it to travel while wet’, or that ‘it would have taken too long and it would have been too late to travel’.

Katsuki grumbled to himself as he threw open the linen closet that held all of the extra bathroom necessities. He grabbed the first towel he saw, the material way too soft and thick for a dumpster cat to use. The blonde moved around his apartment, sweeping the living room and taking all the decorative pillows off the couch and putting them in a closet.

There was no way that any animal was going to destroy his things. It didn’t matter what his partner said, Katsuki would lock the cat on the balcony the moment he saw it scratch something.

It was an hour before his partner and his new feral pet knocked on his front door. The city lights showed through the windows as Hitoshi quickly set down all of his cat’s shit in a corner of his living room. The cat meowed periodically inside his travel container, round eyes staring up at Katsuki.

“You didn’t wash him.” Katsuki observed with a heavy sigh. He knew a battle had been lost, so he might as well complain about it until he won the war.

”He would have been too cold on the train.” The alpha whispered, unzipping the carrier and carefully lifting the small creature out. “He’s been through enough already. He deserves to be warm.”

The blonde rolled his eyes at the predictability of the man. “I think being clean will make him feel better than being lazy.” He griped, as he walked closer to the pair. “I thought you said he was a cat, this thing is a tiny rodent.”

Dark eyes looked up into red, “He is a kitten, genius. Don’t need to be a jackass.” Hitoshi said back, no patience for the alpha’s attitude as he scratched the kitten under its chin.

“Whatever. Give the damn thing to me, I don’t want you two making a mess of my bathroom.” He said, hands outreached for the tiny critter.

Hitoshi huffed as he handed the cat over, an eyebrow raised as he observed the two quietly. The kitten hesitated as it stiffened up in the blonde’s arms, large blue eyes looking back toward Hitoshi. The kitten’s claws were out a tiny bit as his tail stuck straight out behind him.

“You’re making him nervous.” Hitoshi said, moving a finger between fuzzy ears to try and calm the poor thing. “You need to be nice, he can sense your bad attitude.”

The blonde just stared back at his boyfriend, face contorted in a bewildered expression. “What the hell do you mean? I am nice.” He retorted, flicking his attention down to his arms. “I let you bring him. He’s in my house and getting a bath. I’m obviously a gracious host.”

”Ya okay.” The other snorted before turning away to set up the little habitat he had brought.

Katsuki groaned to himself as he walked to his hall bathroom. He couldn’t believe he was letting this happen, the things he was already doing for Hitoshi was astounding. He didn’t like animals, didn’t see the point of having them around unless they had a need to be. He couldn’t understand why anyone would want a dust ball with claws ruining their property and draining a bank account? This thing was a criminal in the alpha’s eyes.

With one hand, Katsuki turned on the sink and waited for it to warm up a bit. The tiny shit didn’t move much as he grabbed the rag and set it inside the sink to absorb some of the warmth before turning off the faucet.

He lifted the cat up to his face, making sure those round eyes looked directly into his own. “Alright, you scratch me once and I’m throwing you back into a dumpster. Got it?” He questioned, his tone serious.

The cat flexed its paws as his legs dangled in the air; small claws peaking out a bit more before retracting.

“Don’t you threaten me!” The blonde huffed, his eyes narrowing. “I’ll make the water cold if you give me any attitude.” One of the kitten’s ears twitched before a soft meow answered the blonde. “Good answer.”

With a gentle hand the alpha set the creature on the wet rag, keeping the thing steady as he turned on a trickle of water. The kitten startled at the steady drops that fell onto its back, a panicked hiccup accompanying the tiny hiss.

“You’re fine.” The alpha said half mindedly, cupping his hand to gather some of the water and dragging it along the grimy fur. He could already see the water dripping off the kitten with a gray tinge.

It didn’t take long before the cat was matted down with water, its tiny body looking like a skeleton with a stringy tail. “You look stupid.” The alpha chuckled, grabbed the dish soap and squeezed some of the liquid in his palm. He lathered the liquid in one hand before getting to work scrubbing the kitten until it was lathered in a thick layer of white foam.

An irritated rumble vibrated through the tiny body, tiny claws clinging to the rag as the kitten swayed side to side under the alpha’s hands. The blonde just rolled his eyes, not caring how much the little shit hated this as long as those claws stayed where they were.

“What are you doing?”

Katsuki grunted in confusion as his boyfriend walked into the bathroom. “Washing the rat.”

“You can’t use dish soap, it’s not good for their fur.” Hitoshi said, actual horror seeping into his tone.

Katsuki looked over his shoulder to the other. “He’s going to need more than one round of soap. It has probably slept in an oil pan since birth, heavy duty soap is needed to get the grease off.”

“Only use this.” Hitoshi continued, not really acknowledging what his boyfriend had said. “Hopefully the conditioner will help his fur since you stripped it bare of its natural oils.” Hitoshi leaned down until he was almost at the kitten’s level. “I’m sorry, honey. I shouldn’t have let this mean alpha be in charge of your first bath. You must be so scared.”

”The fuck?” Katsuki replied but was ignored.

“Look at you. I thought you were only gray, but you have three socks.” Hitoshi continued to bable, his attitude suddenly giddy as he looked at the cat. He was basically talking to the kitten like it was a baby, though the kitten seemed to be enjoying the sentiment as it meowed at it’s owner. ”Ya, you are so handsome.”

With a grumble, Katsuki turned the faucet back on; this time lessening the stream of water a bit. “Can we not talk to this thing like it is a child. It’s an animal.”

“Closest thing to a baby I have- well, besides you.” Toshi said, a smile forming on his face.

”Excuse me? I’m not a baby.” Katsuki yelled, ignoring the kitten that began to wiggle again as it was held under the water.

”What?” Hitoshi grinned up at the blonde, enjoying the face the alpha made as he tried to pretend he didn’t know what he was doing.

“You're stupid.” Katsuki answered, deciding not to indulge his partner.

Once the water that fell from the kitten ran clean, Katsuki grabbed the shampoo bottle and repeated his scrubbing. It wasn’t until the conditioner was applied that the two alphas spoke again.

”I was thinking of naming him Nyan.” Hitoshi started from his place on the toilet seat. He was reading something on his phone, no doubt a generic search of cat names. “I think it would be cute.”

Katsuki blinked at the other. “Really, you want to name a cat Meow? Why name it if you are taking it to a shelter.”

The insomniac groaned to himself, clicking his phone off to look at the cat. “I don’t know. I don’t think it would be a good idea, so many cats are put down at shelters.” Hitoshi said, his face sad as looked into the sink.

Meow

The blonde smirked, the stupid cat was staring over the edge of the porcelain. Its fur was stuck up into a shark fin on its back, a little Mohawk between its ears as Katsuki waited for the conditioner to set in.

“Might as well with how much it likes you.” He whispered.

Hitoshi nodded, a smile back on his face. “Ya.”

“Alright, go grab my hair drier before your precious baby catches a cold.” Katsuki ordered, turning his full attention back to the kitten.

Hitoshi humored the other and walked out of the bathroom into the blonde’s personal bathroom. As he looked through the different drawers Hitoshi noticed that the little stack of towels, they seemed to be the same as the one that Katsuki was using for Nyan. He paused to examine them, the fabric thick and super soft, no doubt of a high quality.

Hitoshi smiled after a moment, realizing that the blonde hadn’t complained about using his towels at all during the bath. Katsuki either didn’t care about his towels- which didn’t seem right since they were the best ones Hitoshi had ever seen- or the blonde wanted to use them for the kitten. Even with the money that the alpha grew up with, he couldn’t imagine his boyfriend not caring that his white towels were being used to clean grease and dirt.

”Ya, ya. We are almost done.”

Katsuki’s voice drifted through the doorway with a couple meows being voiced back as if the two were having a conversation.

”I guess we better dry you off a bit so we can make your dad happy, huh.”

Hitoshi smirked, a smile growing on his face as he waited where he was, listening. He didn’t want to interrupt the two. He hoped that they were bonding, or at least coming to some kind of agreement with one another.

The insomniac chuckled to himself when he heard his boyfriend again. “Don’t! Keep your tail still, you just got water on the counter.”

MEOW

”I told you to keep that attitude in check.”

Meeeow, MEOW

”You little shit, hold still! That’s better. See you don’t need to be a little shit all the time.”

Hitoshi shook his head and walked out of the bathroom and toward the hallway, dryer in hand as he walked back to where Katsuki was. He bellowed a full chest laugh when he saw how the alpha was sitting on the floor, a very unhappy kitten in his lap as it was being roughly towel dried.

“Finally, take your cat.” Katsuki said once he noticed the other. He lifted the balled up towel, a tiny head poking out. “My job is done.”

“Thank you Kats.” Hitoshi said, taking Nyan into one arm. He expected the blonde to leave, or at least get up from the floor; but was pleasantly surprised when he stayed put to watch.

Nyan didn’t seem to like the blow dryer, but sat as still as a tiny kitten could under the light gust of warm air. He seemed to like the brushing the most, his purrs getting louder as he walked in a small circle so the brush could reach each side.

“Nyan is not sleeping in my room.” Katsuki said.

Hitoshi nodded as he walked out of the bathroom; a blown dried kitten in his arms. Nyan looked absolutely adorable with his fur puffing out with luscious volume.

“He has his own spot.” Hitoshi replied.  He hadn’t planned on Nyan sleeping with them anyway. He already had a large cage set up with a soft cat bed that was shaped like a cave. Hitoshi spent a lot of time at the pet store, looking for what would be appropriate for a tiny kitten.

He had settled on getting a cage that was bigger than recommended since Nyan was’t litter trained yet. He didn’t like the idea of leaving the poor thing away from a bathroom for hours at a time. “I won’t let him roam freely until he is litter trained.”

”Thank god.” The blonde alpha said, flopping down onto his couch with his arms crossed. “Don’t insinuate that Nyan is going to be a regular here. He can stay home next time.”

Hitoshi frowned at the other. “He’s too little for that, Katsuki.” He said while settling down next to the other. “He could get anxious or feel neglected.”

The blonde alpha rolled his eyes, but leaned into the other until he could rest his head on Hitoshi’s shoulder. “Whatever.”

The two settled in with each other, content with the other as they fell deeper into the night time atmosphere.

“I missed you.” Hitoshi whispered, fingers petting the kitten as it purred on his lap. “It’s been weird not having you around.”

It had actually been depressing for the alpha. Hitoshi had grown so used to the blonde that when he returned home he didn’t know what to do with himself. He had cleaned, meal prepped, worked out, and did all the things that he usually did on his day off, but all of it was far more taxing than before.

Hitoshi hadn’t been able to get the blonde off his mind the entire time. He had debated multiple times over the past few days about whether he should call his boyfriend- or at least tell him to come over. But he stopped himself each time, worried about how the other would react.

They had spent an entire week sleeping in the same bed, eating together and lounging about. It was a lot for a new relationship and he didn’t want to be overbearing. So Hitoshi had convinced himself that the space was needed, that it was better to let Katsuki have space despite how badly he didn’t want to give it.

In some aspects the few days apart had been good despite his attachment. The alpha was able to recenter himself, get back on top of the things that had slipped to the back burner. He was able to relax, lay on his bed with a book and not have to worry about anything or anyone for the first time in years. It was a perfect break to think and try to get out of the emotions that were swarming his judgment.

So now that he was sitting next to the blonde, he couldn’t hold back- didn’t want to hold back. “This whole thing is still new, so I don’t want to intrude or bully my way into your life-“

”You think I would agree to date you if I didn’t want you around.” Katsuki interrupted, lifting his head so he could look at the other with a serious expression; his eyes narrowed. “What kind of shitty relationships have you had? I wouldn’t waste my time, or yours if I didn’t want you to be around. Stay as long as you want, I don’t mind.” The blonde huffed.

Hitoshi didn’t know if Katsuki was irritated or just acting that way, but that didn’t stop a smile from growing on his face. He knew that the blonde wasn’t one for words of endearment, so accepted the honest words.

The blonde seemed to notice and let out a huff, laying his head back down on the insomniac’s shoulder. “You’re right. Thank you.” Hitoshi said, kissing the top of the blonde’s head.

”Whatever. Put Nyan in his cage before coming to bed. I’m exhausted.” Katsuki yawned as he got up from the couch, stretching his arms over his head and flexing onto the balls of his feet for a moment.

Hitoshi hummed an acknowledgement, getting up himself and taking the kitten to his cage. It already had a small tray of litter and a bowl of wet cat food. Nyan didn’t seem to care about the space as he clambered into his bed, walking in a tiny circle before plopping down into a tiny loaf.

“Good night, Nyan.” Hitoshi whispered, giving the kitten one last scratch before closing the door of the cage.

“It’s not a child.” He heard from down the hall, Katsuki’s voice irritated.

“Nyan is my child. Better get used to dating a single dad.” He yelled back, a large smile on his face as he walked after his boyfriend.

“Are you saying that I am dating a DILF?” The blonde retorted with a half laugh. “Damn, I should have made you my sugar daddy instead. This commitment is more than I originally thought.”

Hitoshi walked into the alpha's bedroom, snapping his teeth at the other in a playful manner. “Don’t start with that. We both know that you wouldn’t be able to keep any kind of daddy with that attitude. You’re too snippy to be a sugar baby.”

Katsuki shook his head, pulling his shirt over his head before flopping onto the bed. “Shut up, there’s a niche for bratty babies.” He said, laying out an arm as an invite. “I would be the best at it too, any old man would be happy to have me.”

The other climbed into the bed, settling into Katsuki’s arms as he teased the other. “Can’t be your daddy if I’m younger than you though.”

“I guess you're right.” The blonde replied. “Guess I still have to find one still.”

Hitoshi growled from the back of his throat, nipping at Katsuki’s shoulder to show his discontent. “Don’t you dare.”

“Or what?” The blonde teased back, pushing at Hitoshi’s face to get his fangs away from his skin.

Hitoshi couldn’t let that happen, so he rolled onto his hands and knees to hover over his boyfriend. “I have said, Kats, I’m possessive and I want you to be mine.” He glared down at the other.

Red eyes stared back at him, his eyebrow raised. “I don’t belong to anyone.” Katsuki whispered, let his fangs peak from behind his lips with a smirk. A hand reached up to intertwine his fingers in purple strands, pulling slightly at them. “But I guess I can be happy with how obsessed you are with me.”

Before Hitoshi could retort, the blonde pulled him down into a deep kiss. The lips locked together, the sound of a surprised breath out of Hitoshi’s nose escaped as he relaxed on top of the other. The blonde smiled at the weight on him, the pressure comforting as his other hand wrapped around the insomniac’s waist.

Just as the blonde was about to slip a hand down Hitoshi’s pants, the alpha pulled away. He looked down at the blonde’s face, his weight held up on his elbows. A finger graced gently over the bandage on Katsuki’s face.

“We should sleep, you need all the rest you can get with the appointment.” He whispered, a small smile on his lips. “That quirk will drain you as your body heals.”

Katsuki nodded his head, “Ya,”

He could feel the bundle of nerves in the pit of his stomach reemerge. Though before it could set deeper, take over the rest of his body; the finger on his face moved down to his chin, tilting it up until his head was in the best position for the insomniac to kiss the tip of his nose.

”Don’t worry, Kats. I will be here to help you where I can.” He said before moving to place a kiss on Katsuki’s cheek. “Even if that means carrying your unconscious body through the streets after the appointment.”

The blond alpha laughed, pushing Hitoshi off of him. “As if you could carry me, you weak ass.”

Hitoshi laughed along with his partner, rolling onto his side so he could look into those red eyes. “I can prove it to you right now if you want.” He teased.

“Shut up.” Katsuki replied, scooting closer so that the two could entangle their limbs together.

The two smiled, pulling the other closer as they settled in together. Katsuki liked the way that Hitoshi held him, his arm wrapped around him to press his hand between his shoulder blades, the other slipped through the space between his neck and the pillow. He liked the way the other smelled, his scent overflowing his senses until he was lulled into a deep sleep.
