Chapter 13

CondiTions

Alright y’all!
Get ready for some mental rambling from our dear Izuku. He is a little loopy and this chapter he is jumping from one thought to the other. Just because his sinus is collapsed doesn’t mean he is immune to pheromones. It’s more like a beaver dam rather than man-made dam 😆 some can still get through if there is enough pressure. He also still has sensitive glands that make him highly responsive.
But really, I honestly believe that Izuku thinks in run-on-sentences. I won’t make you suffer that kind of grammatical nightmare that I originally wanted to write, but I’ll give you a hint of it. Just imagine that these pheromones are like a weed hit and Izuku is just high enough in a the clouds that he can’t control were his thoughts go.

Izuku didn’t know how long he clung to his childhood friend. He just knew that being held so tightly was helping push the onslaught of emotions back down into their depths. He could still feel that part of him rage at the contact. He should probably push the alpha way and run to Chisaki. The idea to take revenge on his childhood bully was so very tempting, but each breath he took was surprisingly becoming easier as he fell further into those strong arms. Each muscle was beginning to relax and release all the tension that had built over the years, one by one..

His instincts purred deep down, begged for this to continue as long as possible. In this moment, Izuku didn’t have to worry about his actions or the amount of his pheromones that filled the room, nor whether he would be punished for the weakness he showed. He was able to feel small and broken for the first time in years, and he didn’t hate it.  This feeling of warmth from another human who was allowing him to fall apart without having to fear was addicting.

It felt like hours had gone by before his tears finally dried and his breathing became more manageable. Another spand on top of that was needed though to pull his clawed fingers from the nice fabric that had been crinkled in his fists. He had no doubt that there were now permanent finger divots that would be noticable when Katsuki left. But he could worry about that later. Because right now he truly couldn’t find a reason to care as he kept touching the soft fabric in his hands; kneading the fabric gently with the pads of his fingers as it soothed him.

With another deep breath, it brought more awareness to the omega. Even with his dulled nose, he could smell how his room was filled to the brim with the combination of ginger and allspice. It was obvious that the combination of pheromones were the cause of his sudden state. The two alphas were having the same effect on him as they had the week before.

Izuku didn't want to admit it but he knew that his omega liked it alot, the way that the two scents mixed and blended together was so addicting. It was like a swirl of warm Spiced Tea; each scent on its own was enough to be perfect and wonderful in the omega’s opinion. One alpha was enough to draw Izuku out of the darkness of his mind. Could easily ground him and bring a needed breath of fresh air.

Yet, when they mixed and combined together around Izuku, it was an entirely different experience. The two alphas were able to pull every single one of Izuku’s fears away; slowly and carefully tugging each strand out and letting them fall away. Each empty pocket left behind was then quickly filled with calm and warmth. It was like Izuku was swimming in an ocean of contentment.

The strong scents balanced together in a way that Izuku hadn’t expected two alphas would be able to do. Together, the purple and blond were so mouthwatering. The comfort of freshly brewed Spiced Latte permeated every fiber of Izuku’s being. The pheromones mixed and swarmed around him, tucking him in like a warm blanket on a cold night. It made the entire situation so much more bearable to process and Izku was able to absorb his surroundings without feeling his energy drain.

He could hear the two alphas whispering over him. Both of them holding the omega’s small frame in a protective hug between them. The pressure of their bodies was a pleasant surprise as Izuku blinked his blurry eyes. It was strange to be held like this…

Again, that dark part of him spoke up. Urging him to pull away- to push and claw at the man that had caused him years of torment.

He hurt you!

He will do it again!

Alphas only care about themselves!

Chisaki will find out!

He will punish you again!

He is your Master!

That brought Izuku back to his body a little more abruptly than he would have liked. The reminder that everything around him was splitting at the seams, and it was his fault. His hard work wasn’t enough, nothing could gloss over what was actually happening. Not even these two alpha’s.

This place was his home, a place he built and infused some kind of comfort into. But it was now rotting away and leaving a toxic sludge behind. It was all dieing no matter how hard he tried to save it.

Every breath the omega took was suddenly like a choking hand around his throat. The voice continued, now louder and angrier.

Submit, you are filth

Stop fighting against Chisaki!

You are nothing

No good anymore, you should beg him for mercy.

He is the only person to ever show you love!

It demanded over and over that Izuku needed to submit in every way to the most powerful alpha he knew. He had to allow his fate to happen or everything would just end up worse.

It was honestly tempting in an unpleasant way. The idea of not having to be strong anymore, but rather allow his inevitable fate to finally fall into place was so alluring to listen to. Izuku was so tired, stretched out so far that he felt like each strand had been slowly breaking apart. The attempts at holding himself together were already so frayed that any more weight was certain to break him.

Deep down Izuku wanted that to happen. Why should he keep having to worry about the decisions of alphas? They didn’t care about his opinion anyway, so why was he putting himself in danger, sticking his neck out so far? It had already proven to get him nowhere.

Chisaki owned him, and he could be a good alpha. He had shown that years ago. Unlike Bakugo- who had hurt him over and over again. Tormented him and showed no care for his well being- there was still a chance with the brunette alpha though.

There could be something there, if Izuku tried hard enough maybe he could get that back.

Yes~

That voice purred. If he kept his head down and his opinions to himself maybe he could find some joy with the man. Ya, he could do that.

But even as Izuku tried to finalize that decision, he couldn’t seem to find the energy to actually listen. His body was so tired, the stress of today’s events had stretched him so thin. He just wanted to sleep- forget the worries that haunted him. He could worry tomorrow, because the nightmares were always there, waiting for him and driving his anxiety every night. But these two alphas here, and Izuku felt like he was being protected from all that unpleasantness. For now they were keeping those dark thoughts at bay and the omega didn’t want them to leave.

“Have you seen the pup around here before?”  One of the alphas whispered above him.

“It had to be the purple haired one, what was his name again? Shin? ya, that was it.” His voice was so soft and low, but there was an edge to it, almost like he was trying to hold back an emotion that threatened to explode out of him. The thought brought a small smile to Izuku’s face.

His mind probed at him again, but instead of more darkness that was spewed before this was encouraging. This one was habitual, a warm present that grew to life deep inside. It purred with happiness, overshadowing the dark thoughts. It softly pointed out how this alpha had shown a small glimpse of being able to take care of him in a way that his master hadn’t.

Ya, this dark haired alpha was far better than any other alpha that the omega knew. So, even with the little Izuku knew about him, maybe he could be worth the pursuit. He seemed capable of holding the load that Izuku couldn’t anymore. He seemed like the kind of man that would allow Izuku a place where he could finally just let go?

Ya, that sounded good. This kind of letting go sounded amazing, less scary. Shin sounded like an alpha that would at least make sure that Eri was safe, that she would be taken care of. He seemed gentle and kind. His eyes showed it all. Even with his face always flat and emotionless, his eyes gave him away. Izuku had seen it, the concern and interest that flashed when they would meet gazes.

“No,” Bakugo’s chest rumbled against Izuku’s ear, the low vibration causing a weird feeling to flow through the omega. “We should go talk to Sensei, this will be a bigger adjustment to the timeline than what we have planned.”

What?

Izuku felt his chest tighten, his mind racing as he tried to push himself back through the tired mush that held him down. No, they can’t leave.Izuku didn’t want them to leave, he wanted them to stay and take care of everything for him. Couldn’t they wait a bit longer? He just wanted a little more rest, a small nap is all he needed; then he could pick it all back up and continue trudging.

“I agree, we need to regroup and adjust the plan.” Shin agreed, his hand began to run up and down Izuku’s side, his fingertips dragging lightly over Izuku’s baggy shirt. “We can’t leave Izuku or his pup behind in a place like this.”

Izuku internally paused at those words.

He’s a good alpha~ His mind whispered.

See he already knows what you need~

Only the best alpha would be like that toward you~

His body settled further into the broad chest. Izuku hummed in affirmative to the voice. He could feel his mind starting to wander again as the two alphas continued to talk; each word beginning to slur into the background. Izuku could feel the vibrations of their words through both their chests. The slow back and forth sent a pleasant wave through him, like how his mother used to purr during those long nights when he had trouble sleeping.

Fingers began running through his hair, their nails lightly scratching as they did so. It felt so pleasant. Between the gentle touches through his hair and his side, he couldn’t help how much he liked the feeling.

He whined when he felt the two begin to move and shift him from his spot. It was Shin who was pulling away, leaving his back cold. He could hear shushing as the grip around his waist and the hand at the base of his neck tightened slightly to calm his protest.

“I will head out, you stay and make sure he doesn’t fall into a drop.” Bakugo stated. The movements of the alpha became more rigid and jostled the omega around slightly in an attempt to  adjust his hold so he could pick the smaller up. “Izuku, can we lay you down in your nest?”

Izuku whined at the sudden emptiness he felt with the thought of them leaving him with nothing to hold on to. “D-don’t l-leave.” He stuttered, tightening his grip on Katsuki’s shirt. His throat was already tightening as he tried to keep the emotional wave at bay.

“Hey, Izuku.” Shin whispered, a warm hand touching his chin to pull it slightly to the side. Izuku tried to fight against it, but his tired muscles gave in quickly. He blinked up at the alpha, those dark eyes looked at him with a soft expression. “Can I stay with you?” He whispered, the airy breath that accompanied it calmed the stressed nerve inside of Izuku.

He nodded as he welcomed the relief that came from the offer. “Come here.” Shin whispered, his arms opening up in a welcome invite. Izuku couldn’t help but be drawn to the man. The promise of the alpha staying- even just for a little bit- was just enough to convince him to move forward.

He crawled into the other alpha’s arms, burying his face into his chest and nuzzled happily as he tried to get comfortable. Izuku shifted, instinctually moving closer to the man’s scent gland while the two alpha’s continued their conversation. He couldn’t seem to make out what they were saying, his eyes growing heavy once again as he nuzzled into the comforting pheromones.

Alpha

Alpha cares

will keep safe

wants to stay

my…

alpha.

Shinso kept a tight hold on the small male, his instincts urging him to keep him close and to protect. It was a different feeling than what he had ever felt. Even when he had bandaged up the omega’s arm his emotions weren’t this strong. This was so much deeper, it burned hot in his chest like it might explode if the omega was taken from him. He didn’t realize how much of his scent he was releasing until he felt Izuku go slack in his arms.

“Shit.” He whispered, concern hinting in his voice as he looked down. He tilted Izuku’s face upward so he could examine it. Those puffy, red eyes were now closed. His eyelashes wet and sticking together while his flushed face began to return back to its normal color rather the red that it just was. Soft breaths puffed through his cracked lips; a few bright red blotches looked angry from his constant nibbling on the tender skin.

“Fuck, what?” Bakugo asked, moving closer to look at the omega. He furrowed his eyebrows together in concern, a hand reaching out to cup the omega’s cheek to examine for himself.

“Our scent put him to sleep. I didn’t realize how much we filled this room up until he passed out.” Shinso explained. He tried to keep his tone flat, like he wasn’t worrying that he had accidentally knocked out an omega while he was having a mental breakdown. “I’m honestly surprised that he didn’t sooner.

“hmm, he’ll be fine.” Bakugo whispered while he moved a strand of green hair from the omega’s closed eyes. “He is so damn strong. Just like when we were brats. I just want to make it easy for him now that I am here.”

Shinso looked up to the blond, watching as Bakugo took a deep breath. The blond’s eyes closed as he tilted his head down so his hair covered the view of his eyes. “I have missed him so fucking much.”

“He’s here now, Bakugo.” Shinso reassured, a sympathetic smile crossing his face as he leaned towards his partner. His heart squeezed as his next words formed in his mouth. “Show him how much you have changed. Some part of him is open to you, look how he clung to you. That isn’t something to push aside. There is still a part of him that hasn’t shut you out.”

Bakugo nodded as he looked up so his red irises could meet the purple with a clouded haze. They stared at each other for a moment, searching to see where the other stood in the moment. It was a long silence, the only sound was their breathing and the soft snores from the omega.

When Bakugo finally broke eye contact Shinso wished that they could continue like this for a bit longer. Whatever this was between them, had the purple haired alpha begging for this connection persist. That thought caused Shinso to pause, his eyebrows furrowing as he immediately started to dissect the emotions that had pushed their way forward without warning.

“Well, I better head out. We don’t have much time anymore.” Bakugo said with a groan as he stretched out his limbs. His joints popped and a heavy sigh left him as he wiggled out his legs. “Don’t stay too long or it could draw attention. We need to keep our visits out of any gossiping idiots here.”

Shinso nodded, shifting the omega in his arms until he was able to cradle him a bit more. He followed his partner’s lead and began to stretch what he could. They had sat in the same possition for almost 45 minutes.

“I will stay until he wakes. I don’t want him panicking and divulging anything that we said today to anyone here. It will be worth the risk if it means that he trusts us. Plus I should find out more about his pup.” He explained, his eyes narrowing in thought as he started to form a list in his head.

“That pup… could it actually be his?” Bakugo murmured, taking a step to close the space between them again. His eyes focused on the small man, his gaze seeking any answer to a question that Shinso had no knowledge of.

“From my experience, no. Most omega’s in the sex trade are forced to miscarry if they haven’t had their ovaries removed to begin with.” The tired hero sighed, closing his eyes to avoid the look that he knew was going to form on his partner’s face. He knew that knowledge wasn’t given out to many heros; personal emotions were hard to navigate on raides, no reason to add onto it. Especially since alphas were inclined to be territorial over an omega and their fertility if a unexpected bond formed.

“If it was his child then he would have conceived after arriving here, though that would be unlikely, it’s not impossible.” Shinso continued on as he tried to organize his thoughts. “We honestly won’t know unless we ask or see the pup again. But even then, an dam would do anything to protect their pup. Lying is one of the easier options. Though I don’t think an alpha would put their mate in a fight ring, so there is also that.”

When Shinso opened his eyes he could see the anger that formed in those red eyes. He was used to that sight, well aware of the warning signs of when the blond was about to erupt. He waited, unsure of what the blond would do with the information.

“We need to get them out, the sooner the better.” Bakugo growled, his fists clenching. Small pops echoed from his hands, the heat that radiated from the blonde raising the temperature of the room.

“Go,” Shinso urged, both out of fear that they would be checked in on by one of the goons here after hearing the explosions. But also to prevent the blond from waking the snoozing omega. “Keep me in the loop after you speak with Sensie.”

Bakugo nodded as he turned on his heels and left the room, his eyes falling upon the small male in Shinso’s arm before closing the door softly behind him.

Shinso glanced around the room, noting how small it. Even with the size, it was  incredibly empty for housing someone for years. It was depressing to think about, to imagine Izuku day in and day out with so few things.

He walked over to the wall and settled next to the nest. He adjusted himself on the end of the mattress before pulling one of the blankets up and around Izuku. He made sure that the omega was comfortable. His eyes tracing the lines of dirt and age that encompassed thick eyelashes. The freckles that jumped out of pale skin and formed heavenly constilations. The omega- even with his scares, miss aligned nose, and sharp tongue- was so beautiful.

Shinso cursed under his breath. He was becoming one of the alphas that was heavily warned about during training. An attached hero was a dead hero. Shinso just hoped that he and Bakugo would be the exception to that. Though a sharp feeling felt like that was wishful thinking.

The alpha sighed as he rested his head back against the wall. His mind became swarmed with the different reasons for the emotions that were blooming.

Izuku stirred, a light throb pulsing behind his eyes welcomed him with the slightest shift of his head. He huffed out in annoyance, subconsciously nosing closer into the soft fabric that consumed him in allspice once again.

A small chuckle resonated through Izuku’s ears at his continuous movement. The sound came as a short lived shock, the deep vibration so foreign that Izuku didn’t think he had ever heard anything like it before. It was so beautiful and carefree, nothing close to the bellowing laughs and harsh snorts that he was accustomed to. It was nice, putting him at ease as he nuzzled once again along the saturated clothing.

Emerald eyes blinked open, confused on how long he had been asleep. Izuku’s mind seemed slower than what he was used to; nothing seemed to register as he looked around his room. It wasn’t until his eyes met with dark purple that the cloud dissipated slightly in wake of awe.

“I thought your eyes were black.” He mumbled, stretching out his limbs as the alpha tightened his grip slightly; steading the omega against his chest as the smaller male got comfortable.

“Nope.” Shinso replied, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. That deep purple seemed to absorb all the light, sucking it all in but sparkling with different hues. They were soft, careful as they watched the omega try to hold back a yawn. “Still just as handsome though.” He teased with a small hum. Satisfaction filled the alpha when a soft blush spread across the omega’s cheeks.

Izuku dropped his eyes, avoiding the alpha that seemed to delight in him squirming. “Hmmm.” Izuku replied after taking a moment to compose himself. “I don’t think there is such a thing as ugly eyes.” He tried to retort, though his tone came out hesitant with a breathy air.

Shin just laughed in reply. His hand that wasn’t supporting the omega’s weight  began to lazily rub up and down Izuku’s arm. The action was comforting, so was the position Izuku was in; the perfect place for a snooze. Izuku could already feel his body begging to sleep more, his eyes heavy despite already taking a nap.

“What time is it?” Izuku asked in a soft voice. Another yawn escaping through his lips, his hand doing little to hide it this time.

“About 8.” The alpha whispered back. “You slept for a while. It’s already dark outside.”

Izuku lifted his head, turning to look at the small window on the other wall. A warm orange poured through the cracked glass; the street light that illuminated the street just on the other side of the pane acting as a night light.

Izuku paused, his mind finally beginning to function as he recognized the amount of time that had passed. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to waste your time. Especially with the crying I was doing the whole time.” Izuku rushed, his face flushing pale as he tried to scramble from the alpha’s embrace.

He mentally kicked himself for already fucking up with his sponsors. Even if the two alphas were impersonating, that didn’t mean that his master wouldn’t expect certain protocols to be maintained.  “I-I will be prepared for what’s expected of me during our next meeting, and ummm, properly win the next match - promise.”

“Don’t worry, Deku.” Shin stated. The embrace holding the smaller pulled gently back until izuk was against his chest despite the attempt of escape. “Bakugo and I aren’t expecting anything from you.” Shinso expressed, his eyebrows furrowing slightly at the stressed behavior that the omega was in. “Rest is the best thing for you as of right now anyway. We won't push you unless it raises suspicion. Even then, we are more concerned with your well being than the money.”

Izuku nodded- his attempts at scampering away resulting in failure- though he was still hesitant to fully relax back into his previous spot. A weird feeling settled over him as he tried to deduce what this new arrangement would bring him. He was still required to perform for his master; there was no way around that if he wanted Eri to be safe. Izuku was also sure that if he lost the next match, Chizaki would be less discreet with punishments going forward.

“You know how to fight, right?” Izuku asked suddenly. An idea was starting to form as he looked back up into those purple eyes.

“Yes, I am a hero after all- kinda part of the job.” The alpha answered. Izuku could tell the male was wary of why he was asking. His shoulders tensed slightly along with the grip around Izuku’s waist as he searched for answers in emerald.

“I can’t keep fighting like this. I was lucky in the last match, but if I am to keep Eri safe, I will need to learn from someone who actually knows how to fight.” The omega began, jumping right into explaining his reasoning as those sharp eyes narrowed slightly. “I’m quirkless, I don’t have anything but my fists to win.”

Izuku looked down at his hands, the many scars on his knuckles and fingers now imitated the pattern of zebra stripes more than anything else. There were so many of them. Each one having a different shape and color, but all of them were still proof of an omega trying to stay alive. Izuku knew he was at a disadvantage no matter how well he fought, without a quirk he was a sitting duck. The only thing he was good at was dodging.

“My master expects me to win the next match, and I don’t know if I can. The fight ring is already popular, but I think that this location is attracting a bigger audience and thus stronger opponents. These expectations from him aren’t realistic anymore. I had hoped that it wasn’t because of me, but I can’t see another reason for that not to be true. I know the other fighters aren’t having as many brutal fights as I do, and with my streak now broken, my Master is angry.”

The alpha nodded, his face focused as he thought through what the omega said. He took a deep breath, his chest lifting Izuku a few inches before settling back- before he spoke. “Can you explain your situation here to me? I don’t want to pry, but I think a little info will help me understand and help you better.”

There was a pause as the alpha stared down at the omega nestled comfortably in his arms. His purple eyes examined the green that glanced up to his with hesitation. Shinso wanted to know, not just for the mission. It was far more than that. There was a burning need to know what the omega was forced to live with, what kinds of things that the alpha could take off those burdened shoulders he held. Even if it was just to listen, he didn’t want Izuku to be alone anymore.

Yes, the information would help with the omega’s plans, but Shinso couldn’t deny that he also wanted to know for selfish reasons. Primal reasons that he couldn’t ignore.

Izuku looked away, his finger coming up so he could nibble at the nail bed. A hint of distress leaked from the omega’s neck as the alpha waited. Shinso sat patiently, trying not to pressure the omega even if he wanted to pull the explanations out of Izuku.

Minutes passed as the omega seemed to get lost in his head. Shinso worried that he may have asked too much too soon. Izuku had no reason to trust him yet, just worded promises so far. Yet, there wasn’t enough time for what Shin wanted. He had to push the omega, ask and dig where he could despite wanting Izuku to actively choose what he wanted. It would take too long to help establish any form of trust and empowerment between them.

Especially when Izuku had lived his life alone, scared and defensive. Actions would outweigh any promise, no matter how honest and dedicated Shinso was. There was no guarantee that Izuku would allow help. He was already so hesitant with the open hand that Shinso was offering him. There were years of manipulation and conditioning that this mission was in competition with.

“Izuku…”

The tired hero placed a finger on the omega’s chin, guiding it up gently until the smaller man was looking up at him. Round eyes gazed up into purple, emotions swirling in the sea of green that encapsulated so many thoughts. Shinso felt like he was being hypnotized. Now that he was up close he could see how deep and mesmerizing Izuku’s eyes were. He hadn’t noticed the golden ring that bled to an ombre from the pupil before. The ripples and sparkles that blended with the waves of green to make an enchanting and far more emotional connection between them.

“You don’t have to tell me. I am here to protect you, to support you like how you should be no matter the situation. But I can do that better if you let me in. Can you let me do that?”

The omega bottom lip quivered, eyes becoming glassy as tears pooled along his lower lashes. The effect took the alpha’s breath away as the sea of colors seemed to move with every breath the omega took. Just as Shinso thought that he would forever be lost within them, the omega blinked and a tear spilled over and trailed down over the dozens of freckles.

Izuku nodded, hands coming to grasp the alpha’s shirt. The omega took a deep breath as he looked down, though his chin was still settled in Shinso’s warm hand. The warmth that the other seemed to radiate reminded Izuku just how cold and alone he has always felt. The new sensation of warmth bleeding over him- not just the omega cheek, but also his resolve. He could feel it deep in his gut that he was safe with this alpha. Izuku would let him in.

“I-I.” Izuku paused, emotions becoming overwhelming as he thought back to the years he had lived. His heart hammered within his chest as he began to speak.

“My master’s name is Chisaki. I don’t know his given name since no one ever uses it. He bought me from the sex house that I was housed in.”

There was another pause as Izuku’s hands began to shake slightly against Shinso’s chest. The alpha released the smallest amounts of pheremones, careful to not overwhelm the small man, but just enough to hopefully keep him in this room rather than the past.

“They k-kept us all drugged. I don’t think it was a lot, but enough that I was always sleepy. I was only there for a few years- I think. M-my… clients… are still hard to remember, there were so many of them. But I do remember my ‘handlers’.”

Izuku tried to gulp down the hard knot in his throat, but his mouth was already so dry. “I don’t know why, but it stopped bringing the haze it used to. It was slow, but I was able to think clearly despite each dose, though I was dizzy and my head hurt so bad.”

Shinso nodded. It sounded like Izuku had built up a resistance for the amount of drug that was given. This was very common with traffic victims. The bigger the inventory grew, the harder it was to keep track of who needed a higher dose.

Izuku huffed a breath, oblivious to the dots that the alpha was connecting. He tried to lick his lips but his upper lip caught on his teeth, the dryness of his mouth refused to let go of the skin. Izuku whipped his cheek, pretending to wipe a tear so he could pull his lip away.

“I wish that I would have stayed drugged, honestly. It was easier, more manageable to please the alphas and betas that came in. I apparently had a client base, but with the drug just giving me headaches, I wasn’t able to perform the way I used to. They complained, hit me, and became more rough with our physical encounters.

It wasn’t long before one alpha got so angry. I couldn’t stop crying, no matter how much I tried. He tried to continue but it hurt so much.

“I-I think I s-snapped cause I don’t remember exactly what happened. B-but I think my omega reacted before I could even think about what I was doing. I hospitalized the man.” Izuku said.

Shinso noticed but didn’t comment on the tiny smile that hinted at the omega’s lips. He too found a small amount of happiness from that.

“My handler was so mad. I assume she gave me another dose, but this one was with a huge needle. Every time it started to wear off I couldn’t stop myself from my omega take over. He would try to kill all of them, I remember the rage and heat. It was like acid in my veins.

I guess that's when my master came to my rescue. Chisaki bartered for me after one of his men witnessed my nose being broken and I still fought like it hadn’t happened. He would talk about how I fought and took down three handlers without much issue when they took me to an abandoned building to put me down. I don’t remember any of it, but he was there and apparently he liked what he saw. Hari said it was fun to watch me rip out two alpha’s throats.”

Izuku shivered at the thought.  “Chizaki bought me, and now I am enslaved to fight in that ring.”

There was a long pause. Shinso was frozen, his mind struggling to process everything that the omega shared. There were so many things that the alpha never wished to know. It was a lot, so much to unpack, and it seemed Izuku felt the same way as he tucked himself closer into Shinso.

As the alpha waited- not wanting to overwhelm the small man- so he pushed everything he heard aside for later. He would need to pass this on to his partner and Aizawa.

Shinso released more of his scent, wanting to soothe the omega. He sucked his teeth as the urge to tell the greenette how strong he was weighed on his tongue. But that didn’t sound right, it didn’t feel like something he should say to someone who was still living within the shadows of his past. Nothing seemed the correct thing to say to help combat what was haunting Izuku still.

“Chisaki, in exchange for my life, has me fight. I have been here for a little bit, I’m not sure for how long though. It all blends together, nothing really changes in the building. Well, Eri helps. I remember when I saw her downstairs. She was so tiny, and crying so hard.  She was covered in bandages and the way that she was shaking still hurts my chest. I scooped her up and took her back here, I didn’t even care that Hari was yelling at me.

“I have no idea where she came from, no one will tell me. B-but my omega has claimed her as my own. I remember scenting her in my nest that night, wrapping her in every blanket I had. I kept her close even when Chisaki came.

“It was a nightmare for a while. He would take Eri away while Hari held me down, I would sneak down to where she was in the exam room and take her back. No matter if she was there alone or not. It was like there wasn’t an option, I had to bring her back no matter what happened. After breaking a few alpha’s arms and enough noses, I was able to make a deal with my Master. He would stop harming Eri if I-”

Shinso waited, eyes wide as he brain tried to fill in the blanks. He stared down at Izuku, horror and sadness the only thing he could feel as he watched the omega shake and let out a small whine. His bottom lip quivered, more tears falling from his cheeks and onto the alpha’s shirt. He ran a hand through green curls, being careful not to tug any of the knots as he released more of his scent.

“I win my matches and Chisaki doesn’t experiment on her.” Izuku mumbles, not continuing his last thought. Shinso a bit his lip as he ignored the growl his alpha wanted to release. Izuku didn’t want to share, and that was okay for now.

“I messed u-up…” A sob exploded from Izuku, his body shaking as he burrowed his face into Shinso’s neck. Gasps of air became loud as he tried to calm himself but to no avail.

It took everything Shinso knew how to do to try and settle the omega. He pulled Izuku closer to his chest, whispering in his ear. But as the omega kept crying, his gasps became harder and more shallow than the last. Each one rumbling deep inside his chest- Shinso began to panic as he feared that Izuku would pass out.

Without thinking he pressed his wrist to the omega’s neck, rubbing their scent glands together and releasing as much as he could to soothe the omega. It only took a few seconds for Izuku to calm down considerably, a loud sigh resonated from the omega before a hiccup. The first sizable breath he had taken since his voice was cut off. He clutched at the alpha’s shirt, pressing his face deeper as the thickness of his sour pheromones lessened.

“…o-owns me!” He cried, his words lost within the hysterical mumble. “he e-experiments...”

Shinso let the omega cry, his brain wracked with different thoughts as he held the shaking omega. He continued to press his wrist hard against the omega’s gland, ignoring how the pressure caused both his and Izuku’s pheromone oil to dribble down the omega’s neck.

All of this hurt. It hurt in a way that he never thought he would feel. It was like his body was aching at every nerve, his chest squeezed tight as he tried to keep back the tears that threatened his eyes. He had to stay strong. He needed to. He said he would.

His throat only tightened more as he tried to ignore it. His throat was on fire, it burned as he tried to speak, each breath stuttering as he clung to the man in his arms. Each convulsion from Izuku was like a live wire going through him. His alpha was in so much pain and he didn’t know how to stop it. How to make this better. He was lost.

But Shinso had to do something, anything.

He couldn’t wait any longer for the Commision to consent to a raid.

Resolution formed with that thought. The tingling and slight relief that flowed through his chest sealing his fate. He didn’t care if he lost his license, freedom or even his life if it kept Izuku and his pup from harm.  He was going to save them.

Shinso buried his nose into Izuku’s wild curls, breathing deeply as he tried to settle his mind and think clearly. He was trained and molded to think in these types of situations, so it was his responsibility to create a plan that would result in everyone being rescued from this hell hole.
