Wrestling

“I’ll win this time!” Mina grunted, her entire body weight pushing against the rock of a person.

They were in the communal area of the dorms, the coffee table moved aside so they could have enough room for one of their frequent wrestling matches. Kiri was doing well at adjusting his stance to accommodate the continuous movement that came from the pink girl. Over the span of multiple rounds over the months Mina had bulked up and learned how to effectively throw the redhead off balance.

Neither could use their quirks in the dorms, so the alternating positions they would throw the other into was chaotic. Kirishima didn’t know how Mina was able to throw him like she could. Even without his quirk activated he was heavy, basically a walking bolder with how much muscle he had packed on over the years at UA; yet the acid queen was able to flip and push him off balance like he weighed nothing.

Kirishima laughed, extending his hand to throw off Mina's jump away from him. She fell to the floor, expressing an angry grunt when she rolled back on her feet. Kiri could see her eyes examining him, the gold rings more like a blazing sun as she scoped out her next move.

“Common Mina. You can’t pin me, we have done this for 3 years and you still haven’t even gotten me on my back once.” He teased with a wide grin.

He didn’t know if it was evident, but he really liked doing this with her. The heroine never went easy on him. She always went all out and tried as many different moves as she could think of.

These matches had started during the cold months of their first year. Mina wanted to take Uraraka’s lead and enhance her physical strength as much as possible. Kiri happily volunteered to assist in anything she needed, and thus they would randomly wrestle on nights when most of the class were out for the evening.

“Here.” Kiri offered with a teasing tone, his smile growing even wider as he covered his eyes with his hand. He peaked through his fingers once to wink at the girl in front of him before fully blocking all visibility. “I won’t look.”

“Now you’re just being mean.” She whined.

Kiri could see her even with his eyes closed. The way her hair was already a mess of curls. How her pink skin glistened from the effort she had already exerted. The movement of her chest as it rises and falls with each heavy breath.  She was beautiful at any other moment, but like this she was a goddess.

Kiri only laughed when he felt a hit come from behind him. He only stumbled slightly, his feet shifting a couple of inches as he strained his hearing while keeping his eyes closed. Mina was basically a silent assassin. Her movements and footsteps quiet, her breathing soft even as she strained for air.

The hero in training tilted his head, adjusting himself as he heard a slight shuffle against the rug on his right. He wondered what the alien queen was going to do this time. Take out his leg, go for the neck, maybe a crotch hit? Really the options were endless.

A sharp kick to Kirishima’s side had the redhead stumbling to the side, his feet catching on themselves as he tried to keep upright. An arm wrapped around his neck, squeezing the man tight and pulling him forward toward the ground. Kiri quickly tugged his way free, spinning out of range before opening his eyes to see the woman he had a crush on smiling brightly.

Even though her attack wasn’t successful, the result was enough to bring a happy cheer from the heroine. “Alright. Maybe I can win this.” Mina concluded with an excited whoot.

“Na, you barely moved me.” Kiri said with a chuckle. He closed his eyes again, but straightened his back as he listened closely for where Mina would go.

“That was still progress. The most I have gotten in weeks.” She groaned loudly, the sound of her hands hitting her thighs as the redhead envisioned her throwing them dramatically.

“Give her some credit, man. She’s the only one that is willing to still do this with ya.” A loud laugh broke the two’s back and forth. Denki’s opinion was accepted by a determined Mina.

“Ya, Eijirou. Give me credit.” She said, no doubt with a frown pulling at her lips.

“Fine.” The redhead conceded. “Alright, I’m done.” He said, stretching his arms above his head as he looked at his two friends.

“Whatever.” Mina chided. “You’re just hungry.”

Kiri nodded, his smile still on his face as he watched Denki put the coffee table back in its place.

“I’ve gotta feed these muscles.” Kiri explained while poking his bicep. “I can't have you beat me any time soon.”

Mina groaned with an annoyed breath. “You boys and your muscles! Just be happy with what you have.”

Since KiriMina is basically cannon at this point, I thought I would make a cute scene that I thought would realistically happen at the dorms. Honestly question… do you think class 1A would have tournament style competition without quirks during holiday breaks. I mean, that could really go home. It must have gotten boring a couple of times being cooped up.
