Chapter 20

Drained

“What the fuck?” Katsuki grumbled when he accidentally shoulder-checked the door frame. With a heavy sigh he dropped his duffle bag onto the entryway floor. His next round of pain medication must be close. The pounding in his head was really the only thing audible at this point. It was overtaking his scenes and making it hard to see with only one eye. Those damn tiny specks in his vision were annoying as hell.

“You good, hun?” Mina asked as she entered behind him. She tried to keep her face neutral as one of her hands hovered over his back- but the concern was more than prevalent.

“Ya.” Was the only reply she got before the alpha slid down the wall onto the floor- basically abstracting the entire walkway into the rest of the condo. But he didn’t really care.

Katsuki was exhausted, his face was throbbing, and his headache was growing worse with every breath he took. He honestly just wanted to collapse on the spare bed that was just down the hall. It was so close, but for some stupid reason too far away for the energy he had left.

All of this wouldn’t have been so back if it wasn’t for Kirishima and his stupid runt of a dog. Oh, and Mina had driven her tiny ass car to pick them up from the hospital. It predictably didn’t leave any room for her behemoth of a husband except in the shotgun seat. It baffled Katsuki to the point of quiet anger, but he kept himself in check.

The stupid predicament was initially fine- annoying as hell, sure but Katsuki had settled himself with being in the back. That would mean more room for him right? WRONG!

Of course his overly too chivalrous best friend insisted on driving, meaning that the driver's seat had to be pushed all the way back. Katsuki didn’t grumble too much since he would actually be able to lean the left side of his head against the window on the other side, but it seemed he wouldn’t get any peace throughout the drive.

That stupid Fox Terrier was all too excited the moment Katsuki got settled in the car. Not even three seconds in and that yapper jumped onto his lap and tried to lick away his entire face. It would have been welcome since he was already used to the little shit doing that. Except the first thing she did was ram her nose right into his right cheek, right where all the stitches were.

Katsuki is sure the noise he made gave Mina a panic attack because it wasn’t another second before the 15 pound mutt was no longer on his lap. And he didn’t actually care. Part of him hoped Mina had thrown it in a dumpster, but settled with knowing that his friend was wrestling the beast in the front seat. Her hesitant whispers of ‘sorry, Kat’ and ‘Adzuki, stop it. Bad dog’ the only sounds that filled the car the entire drive to their condo.

Mina let out a soft breath next to him, her eyebrows pinched together but nodded none the less before picking up his duffle bag. She no doubt caught Eijirou’s attention as he walked through the door with a wiggly dog in his arms before she walked further into their home.

“Are you going to stay there or come with me to the couch?” Eijirou asked while taking off both their shoes. The small space filled with the sounds of a collar shaking before tippy taps trotted further into the house allowing enough relief to fall over the blonde; he had evaded a secondary attack.

“Bed.” Katsuki finally said as he rolled his head to look up at his friend. He didn’t know if he could handle being up much longer. He wouldn’t admit it, but the black spots in his vision were getting bigger.

The red head nodded. His arm snaked around the blonde’s waist and pulled him up onto his feet. “After we get something in your stomach so you can take your meds. Okay?”

Katsuki closed his eye and huffed out a small groan at the movement. Most of his weight was being held up by the other, thank god his friend was truly a rock to lean on. He grunted in answer while he was moved into the living room.

He wished that his blood test would have come back already, he hated not getting some amount of healing before he left. This was the worst.

“Alright hun, I got your room setup.” Mina’s voice came. Her scent creeped closer as Katsuki rested himself onto the couch.

The alpha startled as a tornado of a dog jumped up onto the couch next to him before leaping back off and sprinting down the hall, and then coming back landing right next to him and panting like an idiot.

This dog was stupid, clearly not bred for anything but being annoying as hell. His thoughts were confirmed when he tried to rest a hand on the animal's back. Adzuki skirted back with a bark, ass in the air and head low before bolting off the couch and back down the hallway before flying through the living room and into the kitchen.

Katsuki took a deep breath, the sound of sloshing water in a bowl causing him to get dizzy as he tried to mentally keep up with the dog. “Thanks.” He whispered with a heavy sigh.

“Of course.” Mina murmured. She quickly pulled a blanket over his lap and helped situate him so he could lay down without straining his neck too much. Mina was a goddess in moments like these.

Katsuki didn't know how long he had laid there- if he had truly slept or just spaced out- but the smell of maple and cinnamon jostled him out of his makeshift tomb. “Hey, wake up Kat.” Eijirou’s voice was soft, his large body crouched next to him. “I got some tea and oatmeal. Let's sit you up.”

The blonde groaned as he allowed the redhead to sit him up. He could barely keep his eye open, his face more or less a mass of throbbing flesh as he sat there practically zoning out.

Kirishima watched his friend closely, his eyebrows pinched as he analyzed the way the man kinda swayed before slouching into the back of the couch. He grabbed the bowl and raised the spoon to Katsuki’s mouth, praying his friend was too out of it to fight back. To his relief it wasn’t at all a fight. The alpha munched on the oats- something to what babies do with bananas- before swallowing.

It was cute, even his mate was smiling and recording the whole thing. They were going to die if the blonde ever found out about it, but thankfully they had a secret group chat that was used for situations like this. Their pack- excluding the fiery alpha- had sworn that no one could talk about what was sent in that group chat. It was where they could exchange video and pictures of their grumpy pack member, the chat name? Not fast Only FURIOUS.

The two alpha ‘parents’ quietly fed their devil ‘baby’, their voices hushed as they talked to one another. Once everything was eaten and the medication taken, Kirishima easily picked the blonde alpha up into his arms; Mina quickly making sure the blanket didn’t fall in the process.

Once the fiery alpha was in his bed, his only protest being a grumble before rolling over and settling in, Mina made gentle work of tucking in her friend. The large blanket became tightly wrapped around the large male with his arms tucked into his chest.

It was sweet to watch the female alpha swaddle a grown man, the tenderness in her movements absolutely breathtaking. Kirishima loved watching his wife when she got into a vibe like this. It made him want a pup, to start a family with her so badly.

It was hard to move. Each joint was stiff and cold despite the fuzzy pajamas that bagged over his body. Everything was hard to process; the lights were too bright, the shadows that moved under the door too irregular to track, and the quietness that seemed to absorb everything far too loud.

Nothing felt real. No matter how hard Izuku tried to understand what was happening around him. Each time he would make some kind of progress with what was happening, it would slip away and leave behind a scary emptiness.

He would have concluded long ago that he had gone insane, no doubt his mind having drifted past the line of sanity and everything here was nothing more than a room in his own mind. Yet, there was one consistent event that seemed to anchor him to reality.

A dark haired man. He looked like Shin…but not. It was hard for the omega to concentrate long enough to remember details, but he knew the man was older and had facial hair. Izuku couldn’t - wouldn’t- believe that he had been wherever he was for time to have slipped by that much. So it couldn’t be Shin, at least he hoped it wasn’t.

A part of him hoped that the alpha that he had grown some kind of bond with would come into the room and wouldn’t just stand there and watch him like he always did. Not Shin was at the small window again. His gaze set on him and he was saying something that Izuku couldn’t hear. It worried him at first, but after the first couple of times it seemed to be something that man did. It was weird, but no longer scary to the omega. It was almost refreshing to finally see someone after large spans of no one.

This visit though seemed to be different, because no one ever came into the room. It was always just Not Shin who would look through the tiny window. So when the doorknob jiggled, it sent Izuku’s entire senses on alert. His eyes narrowed in on the door and his omega quickly prepared for what would come through.

Though, it wasn’t what he expected. He had thought it would be Not Shin, but instead an omega walked in with a caddy behind her. The girl was quiet, her focus entirely on him as the door closed behind her. It had been a long time since Izuku had been around another omega, the girl’s scent so foreign to him that he didn’t know if he could get any comfort from it.

”Hello, Deku.” The girl finally said after a few moments of silence. “My name's Yui, I am your nurse.” Her eyes scrunched closed as she smiled under the large medical mask. Her scent filled the room with a pleasant spice as she stayed where she was.

“I am here to help you get cleaned.” She continued, her eyes looking back to the caddy. She didn’t seem to mind his silence, her perky attitude more than enough for the both of them. “If I leave the cart here, can I come closer?” She asked, her head tilting to the side.

Green eyes blinked at her, mind still wrestling with the meaning behind her words. It took far longer than needed for him to finally understand. He nodded slowly, curious as to who this girl was.

The omega’s smile grew wider as she walked until she was right in front of him. The bed was tall for her size, hips right at the height of the mattress. “You have very pretty eyes, Deku.” She said with a soft purr.

Izuku just blinked at her, not really knowing what to do since she was just standing there. Yui seemed to catch on, her demeanor changing slightly. Her shoulders fell slightly and her eyes softened as she looked at him. Unexpectedly, she slowly offered up her wrist, the scent gland in clear view for him to see as she waited.

Shock filled him as he recognized the offered scenting. It wasn’t something Izuku had done since he got kidnapped. Tears lined his eyes as he shakily reached his own arm out, the sleeve of his pajamas getting in the way of the scenting and causing an irritated grunt from the green hair omega.

Yui hummed with amusement as she pushed the sleeve up for him, her gland grazing against him in a familial greeting. Tears broke loose from glassy emerald eyes as Yui’s pheromones swarmed his veins. It felt strange, but nostalgic and warm. It had been too long for him, the sudden connection strong and potent as it spread through his body.

“I want to help you, Deku.” Yui whispered, her wrist still lightly touching his. “Will you let me?”

Izuku nodded quickly, a sob breaking free as he looked up into those golden eyes. For the first time in years he didn’t feel alone.

Aizawa watched from the window, eyeing the female omega as she talked with Deku. He didn’t know why she was setting off his alpha, he could feel his instincts pacing back and forth; waiting for any reason to pounce. She seemed to genuinely care about the other omega. Which was a bit of a shock considering all the other staff in this ward.

It wasn’t just how she handled the underground fighter during, it was how she cared for him when he started crying. She gently wiped the tears, not caring about filth on his face. The alpha couldn’t hear what she was saying, but there were moments he knew the nurse was cooing at the omega in her care.

Right now she was even washing his hair with more intention than what would be customary at a hospital. Her fingers dug down through green curls and massaged his scalp, allowing him to lean his head back. This was the first time that Aizawa had seen the omega relax, days of him curled in on himself now gone as the two interacted.

“Shota?”

The alpha turned at the familiar voice that came from the other side of the hall. The bright blonde top-bun gave away exactly who it was besides the use of his given name. He couldn’t stop the smile that spread across his face, shoulders loosening as the beta walked closer.

The moment the man was in his arms, Aizawa was rubbing his neck against the other’s. A soft hum being the answering reply instead of a returning scent since the beta couldn’t scent back his alpha. But Aizawa didn’t care; he never had.

“Sorry it took so long. Paperwork can be such a headache when we deal with the State.” Yamada groaned, head finding its rest in the crook of the alpha’s neck. “How is Deku?”

”I don’t know. Something isn’t right here.” Aizawa whispered, arms tightening around his mate. “I can’t figure it out, but for some reason my instincts are going crazy.”

The blonde looked up so he could make eye contact with his mate. His eyebrows furrowed together as he searched the man’s face. “With the omega, or this place?” He asked, even softer.

“This place.” Aizawa confirmed. “I’m going to be here more often. I need to figure this out.”

Yamada nodded, nothing but support in his eyes. “I feel the same with Eri. The staff are more distant with her than the other kids.” He finally said, eyes falling to stare over his alpha shoulder in thought. “If I or Miro aren’t there, then she stays in her room all day. Alone.”

Aizawa’s alpha bristles at that. That was confirmation enough to validate he wasn’t being crazy or imagining things. “We need to be careful.” He whispered, pulling his husband back into his arms so he could talk directly into his ear. “Until we know for certain if it is the Commision or Overhaul. We need to act like nothing is different.”

”I agree.” Yamada responded, not moving his head but rather speaking into his alpha’s neck. “Be careful, I at least have Miro with me most of the time.”

Aizawa grunted, his mind filled with possible reasons for what was happening. He didn’t have the heart to tell his mate that he shouldn’t trust the hero. Miro was a good man, always doing more for the people he rescued than any other hero. But blind trust wasn’t safe in most cases when dealing with the underground.

“We will talk more tonight.” Yamada finally pulled away when his alpha didn’t say anything. A sad smile pulled at the corner of his mouth. “Okay?”

”Of course.” Was the alpha’s immediate reply before pulling his mate into a kiss.

“If you don’t get your ass out of bed I will melt it.” Mina shouted from down the hall.

Katsuki could hear her rummaging around while gentle nail taps following her around with an occasional huffed bark.

“No you won’t.” He mumbled into his pillow. It was too early for this much noise. He didn’t like early morning appointments, but apparently it was the only time that his idiot friends could drive him since they had alternating shifts. Kirishima wouldn’t be home from his night patrol for another two hours, and then Mina would be clocking in just as he would leave.

“We are going to be late for your appointment.” Mina's voice traveled again from the hall before her footsteps got closer. “Seriously Kat. GET UP!”

”Alright!” He marked, pushing his upper body off the pillow and throwing himself onto his back.

The jingle of a collar and the movement at the bottom of the mattress was just enough notice before Adzuki was walking up his body in hopes to lick his face. “God, get your mutt under control.” He yelled, but didn’t do much to push the dog away.

”Or you can get up.” Mina laughed, doing nothing to ‘control’ her dog.

Katsuki lifted his head, glared at the woman that began rummaging through his duffle bag. He dropped his bed back onto the pillow, a groan slipping past his lips as he stretched out his limbs. It was going to be a long day, but hopefully he would be able to go back to sleep after Eijirou worried over him.

“Whatever.” He finally relented. Adzuki grunted in displeasure as he pushed her off, then actually whined when the blonde threw his blanket over her. “HA, payback bitch.”

”Why do you bully her?” Mina groaned. She threw him a pair of pants and a hoodie from his bag before shuffling through it for socks.

“Why did you get a dumb dog?” He asked back, carefully slipping the hoodie over his head. “You know that smart dogs are able to get out from under a blanket, right?”

Mina huffed, quickly moving to the other side of the bed and tugging the blanket off her panicking dog. The thing was acting like it was dying. “Watch it Kat, or we will get another one.”

”At least make it the size of an actual dog, and not a rat.” Was the only retort he could think of, his mind too muddled with sleep to be clever.

”You love her, who wouldn’t love you.” Mina said while switching into a baby voice as she scratched Adzuki’s belly. “Alright, brush your teeth and then we are out of here.”

”Yes, mom.”

“Alright, what about now?”

Katsuki sighed, his shoulders slumping in on themselves. “Nothing different.”

The Optometrist frowned as he dropped his hand that had been holding up a pencil in front of the blonde’s face. They had already tried the phorpopter, but it was quickly determined that nothing was perceptible, and now the doctor was holding different things up in-front of his face.

“Okay, so he can only see the difference between shadow and light?” Mina’s voice asked from her seat by the door. “Is that something that will fix itself?”

The Optometrist moved back to the small counter that had a number of items on it. “It’s hard to say. Eye injuries are tricky.” The man said as he leaned against the counter. “The injury is still fresh and just in the beginning stages of healing, but I will remind you that regaining what your vision was before isn’t likely.”

Mina nodded, her demeanor reflecting just as much as the blonde alpha. “What if he is able to get a healing quirk used on it?

”That would be the best case for recovery, depending on the quirk at least.” The Optometrist hummed. “You stated that you can’t get in for one?”

Katsuki slouched back in his seat. “No, my blood tests haven’t come back yet. I was supposed to get them back yesterday, but nothing.”

Mina nodded along. “When I called the hospital, I was left on hold for 10 minutes before they said that they would call me back. We aren’t sure what’s going on.”

The Optometrist furrowed his eyebrows. “I can send in a request for the results. I will need to know them anyway to help treat you.”

The two alphas nodded, both letting out a breath at the offer. “That would be very helpful. Thank you.” Mina replied, though her smile was still tight.

“Of course. In the meantime, let's keep this covered. You are still at risk of infection, so we want to minimize it.” The man said before collecting the needed material to cover the injured area. “When you shower, make sure that soap doesn’t get under your eyelid. Water, in tiny amounts should be okay. It will just cause the healing membrane to become irritated.”

“Thank you. When will I need to come back in?” Katsuki asked as he tilted his head back to make it easier for the doctor.

“Within a few days. No longer than four though.” He replied. “I understand your schedules can be hard to work around. I will be flexible for you.”

The blonde grunted in turn. It wasn’t like he had patrol or anything to work around. His two caretakers had come up with a good system to watch over him, so it wouldn’t be too much of a hassle to get back in.

Really it was the blood test that was giving Katsuki stress. He had never had this many issues getting his medical information. Being a hero typically meant that his requests were first priority. So not having any update after the samples got lost was frustrating and strange.

“Kats, will you hold my bag?” Mina asked as they left the room they were in. “I have to use the bathroom.”

”Ya.” Katsuki grabbed the purse and trudged into the waiting area. He dropped into one of the seats, settling himself into a slouch so he could close his eye. It was quiet in the office with it being so early. The had opened early to be able to accommodate Mina’s patrol schedule. but it seemed now the rest of the staff was showing up for their work.

There was a purple-haired girl who had let the two heros in earlier that morning behind the desk. Her voice was high pitched as he talked to someone. “This is the computer where we check patients in and out. All their info is…” They must be training a new hire by the way it sounded.

Katsuki turned to take a peak with bored curiously. There was a man standing next to her, focused on the computer screen as she talked him through something. The man was definitely a bit out of place. Most office assistants didn’t have the gym build look. Most people at the job looked similar, and this man stood out like a sore thumb.

His build indicated he was an alpha, his blonde hair pushed back from his forehead and tucked under a black beanie that matched his scrubs. He had a medical face mask on that covered the bottom half of his face.

Katsuki shrugged it off. He had worked hard on not judging everyday people that he came across. His therapist would be proud of him for being aware of his initial feelings towards this and how he was actually pulling himself away from his habit. Cause honestly she was right- like always- there was no reason why a gym bro could be an office assistant. It was his life and he could do whatever he wanted.

The presents of pink caught Katsuki’s attention as his friend walked toward him. “Thank you. There was no way I could have waited till we got home.” She said with a happy giggle. Katsuki just shrugged, handed her the purse and walked beside her out the door.

He couldn’t wait to get back to bed. He was emotionally drained and it had only been a 30 minute appointment.

It was a beautiful morning. The first day in many where the weather wasn't crazy with its obnoxious wind. The sun was out and warmed the skin just right, the breeze keeping the heat from being overbearing as he walked down the street. It was a day that Hitoshi would usually sleep through, so he happily soaked it in. He rarely was able to enjoy the daylight with the scheduled patrols he did at night.

So it didn’t take much convincing for him to want to spend the day with a certain blonde alpha and enjoy the sun. It had been a few days since they last interacted. The blonde barely texted him back since his discharge from the hospital- which the dark haired alpha couldn’t really blame him for.

Kirishima had kept him updated on Katsuki’s condition, sending him a text at least once a day. The updates had been the same for the past two since the update from the eye exam appointment that the alpha had. It was worrisome to hear that the loud and grumpy alpha had reclused himself to laying in bed and tuning out the world.

Apparently the alpha rarely left the small guest bedroom, keeping the door closed and playing random music throughout the day so as to not hear what the mated couple were doing.

Mina had called him earlier, before her shift, asking him to stop by. It was a good idea with what the heroine had said next. Katsuki had finally left his room and had moved out to the couch the night before. What she had first thought was progress had quickly worried her.  The blonde only watched the news that was being released about any mission updates.

She had walked out a couple times throughout the night to check on Katsuki, and each time he was in the exact same spot. Either watching a news segment on a different streaming service or on his phone trying to read an article. When she got up for work, he was still awake. The dark ring under his eye was more than noticeable in comparison to the white gauze and tape that was over his other.

It was abnormal for the Hero to become this obsessed over the new- especially their combinatory on missions- but it seemed his lack of work was leading the blonde to alternative actions.

To say that the three alphas were now concerned for their friend was more than obvious. So in light of the update, Hitoshi was now on the subway and heading to hang out with a certain blonde.

“Did you hear that LeMillion just busted a trafficking case?” A girl on the other side of the train said to the girl next to her. “It wasn’t a big one, but he saved at least 2 people!” The girl was showing something on her phone, a large smile on display as another girl with gray hair grabbed it and hummed a giggle.

”He is so cute! The best hero honestly.” Was the gray girl's reply as she began scrolling on the device. “It says the bust wasn’t long ago. I wonder why he hasn’t made a statement yet.”

Her friend nodded in agreement. “What if he found his mate? Wouldn’t that be romantic?”

”Oh my god! Just imagine being rescued by LeMillion and then he confesses his love to you.” The girl rolled her head back, eyes falling shut as she shivered at the thought. “I wish it was me.”

”Hina, we both know that he is way out of your league… but maybe we can swoon him the next time he is at a convention.” The first girl teased as she took her phone back. “Such a strong and handsome alpha would obviously want at least two omegas right?”

“No doubt, we could have his babies-“

Hitoshi shook his head and quickly pushed his earbuds into his ears, making sure the music was loud enough to drown out the two girls. It was gross to see so many people swoon for an alpha like the number one. Sure he wasn’t as bad as Endeavor had been before the war… but that didn’t mean that he was great.

That wasn’t true, he was a very good hero.

It was kinda stupid for him to have a biased opinion on another hero when there wasn’t proof of him being bad at his job. Sure, he did attack Deku without much thought for the omega’s health, but that wasn’t a reoccurring issue.

Hitoshi grumbled to himself the rest of the way to the apartment, his demeanor now just as irritated at himself as it was toward Miro. He couldn’t get that guy out of his head and the way that he seemed to always get himself out of trouble. He wasn’t even on any kind of leave like Katsuki and himself. It was stupid. He attacked a feral omega and hadn’t even gotten a slap on the hand. Stupid, prissy alpha!

With a deep breath Hitoshi pushed the front door of a condo open, his nose immediately picking up on Katsuki’s ginger scent mixed with Kirishima and Mina’s. The warmth of the smell eased his nerves, his shoulders finally releasing their tension and calming his inner beast.

Mina had told him that Kirishima would be asleep in their bedroom- but that man slept like a rock in any and every place he settled- so they wouldn’t have to worry about being too loud.

It didn’t take any time to find the alpha he was in search of. Blonde spikes peaked from over the top of the couch, tv on a news station with 3 people bickering about a new law that could go into effect.

The blonde alpha didn’t even move, his attention glued to the screen, as Hitoshi settled down next to him. He got himself comfortable, his arm resting on the back of the couch above Katsuki’s head.

“What are they talking about?” He asked, voice low and soft so as to not disturb the man beside him.

Katsuki sighed before answering. “The gas leak that happened off the coast. They are fighting about the pros and cons of making everyone turn to electric.”

“Hmmm.” Hitoshi answered, not really caring for the politics on screen but rather the alpha. It was a good enough sign that Katsuki wasn’t watching something about hero work. Even if it was politics, that was better than him hyperfocusing on a job he was not allowed to do.  “When was your last dose? You look tired.”

Katsuki shook his head, his chest sinking in on itself as he turned to address the other. “Mina took care of it before she left. Got a couple more hours.” Was his simple reply. His eye was drooping a bit like he was fighting the sleep that was no doubt trying to take over.

“How have you been sleeping?” Hitoshi whispered, his eyes now taking in how pale the alpha was.

”Not good. Can’t fall asleep.” Katsuki said, his head falling forward slightly.

Hitoshi nodded and stood up from the couch. “Common.” He said, hand offered out to the blonde.

Katsuki crinkled his face in confusion at the hand before looking up at Hitoshi. “Where are you going to take me?”

Hitoshi smiled a bit at his friend, the man no doubt wanting to pick a fight but not having the energy. “I haven’t been sleeping well either.” It was a lie, a big fat lie. He was still sleeping pretty well with the hints of Katsuki’s scent still stuck in his bedding. “Let’s go take a nap.”

Red eyes narrowed, but ultimately the blonde took the offered hand. Hitoshi helped the alpha up, his arm snaking around the narrow waist and guiding them to a bedroom that had its door open. The heavy smell of ginger was encasing the room, Hitoshi’s instincts becoming happy as he tried to keep down a rumble in his chest.

Katsuki dropped into his bed with a heavy huff, his body barely on the bed as he groaned. Hitoshi chuckled in amusement, more than happy to lift the blonde’s legs and throw them onto the bed properly. The lack of complaint or grumbles was enough of a sign to know that Katsuki was beginning to drift off.

Hitoshi quickly scurried into the other side of the bed, making sure to give the other alpha plenty of room as he too got comfortable. But to his surprise, a hand reached out and grabbed the front of his shirt.

“Come ‘ere.” Katsuki grumbled, his voice heavy as he pulled at the other alpha.

Hitoshi smiled, more than willing to scoot closer and have the blonde snuggle into this chest. With an arm wrapped around his waist, face pushed up under his chin- careful as to not brush his bandaged eye against anything, the two relaxed into each other.

Unlike before, Hitoshi couldn’t stop the rumble in his chest from radiating out of him. His alpha was far more content than it had been in days. The soft, blonde strands far too tempting to not bury his nose into. It wasn’t until there was a rumble in reply to his own that Hitoshi threw his arm that was previously settled on Katsuki’s hip around the blonde to pull him even closer.

Even though Hitoshi had gotten enough sleep the night before, the combination of Katsuki’s croon and pheromones were impossible to fight off. They both quickly overflowed his senses and pulled him into his own deep slumber.
